  • Patent number: 11603289
Abstract: A support device for supporting a rotary platform of an elevator. The support device includes a first form-fit engagement means at an end of a fixed first guide rail, said end facing the platform, a third form-fit engagement means at an end of a third guide rail fastened to the platform and rotatable with the latter. In an alignment of the platform to a first position, the first and third form-fit engagement means are arranged with respect such that, when the platform deflects, as around an axis arranged in a second direction, the third form-fit engagement means is supported on the at least one first form-fit engagement means.

  • Patent number: 10723591
Abstract: A guide rail for an elevator system may comprise at least two rail elements that together form a guide rail portion having a functional running track that extends in a travel direction. Each of the rail elements may be connected to a shaft wall of the elevator system. Furthermore, the at least two rail elements may be adjacent and spaced such that the at least two rail elements can thermally expand freely in the travel direction. Additionally, the at least two rail elements in a region of the functional running track may have mutually opposite borders that have complementary profiles. An arbitrary cross section of the guide rail portion perpendicular to the travel direction in the region of the functional track may run through at least one of the two adjacent rail elements.

  • Patent number: 9120192
Abstract: A machining apparatus has a frame defining first and second upper machining stations horizontally offset from each other and first and second lower transfer stations underneath the first and second upper machining stations. First and second spindles have respective workpiece grabs and are displaceable vertically on the frame between upper positions in the respective machining stations and lower positions in the respective transfer stations. A workpiece conveyor extending through the transfer stations can transport workpieces into and out of the transfer stations. A holder carrying tools is displaceable horizontally on the frame between the machining stations. A chip deflector has first and second parts movable between catch positions underneath the respective first and second machining stations and parked positions not underneath the respective first and second machining stations.

  • Patent number: 7286895
Abstract: A safety device for a machine has a first machine part for carrying out a working movement towards a second machine part. It also has at least a first and a second optical barrier moving along with the first machine part during the working movement. The first optical barrier runs ahead of the first machine part by a first distance, and the second optical barrier is arranged at a second distance from the first optical barrier. A control unit is designed to stop the working movement of the first machine part when the first optical barrier is interrupted. A test unit allows to test whether the second optical barrier has been interrupted once the first machine part has been stopped. A blocking unit serves for blocking the working movement as a function of the test result from the test unit. Using this safety device it is possible to determine an overtravel of the first machine part in a simple and reliable manner.

  • Patent number: 4108769
Abstract: The invention deals with the reduction of the mercury content of industrial waste waters, especially those from a chlorine-alkali electrolysis using the amalgam process.According to the invention all mercury present in the waste water is converted to the form of Hg.sup.++ ions by adding chlorine. Subsequently Fe.sup.++ ions are added. The pH of the solution is raised until a redox potential of from - 0.1 to - 0.8 volts, relative to the normal hydrogen electrode, is obtained. The mercury precipitated and the iron oxide hydrate formed may be filtered from the waste water. Residual mercury contents in the filtrate of about 50 mg/m.sup.3 may be obtained.

  • Patent number: 3953584
Abstract: For the preparation of basic aluminum chlorides by reaction of AlCl.sub.3 with aluminum hydroxides, there are generally used aluminum hydroxides easily soluble in mineral acids. According to the process of the invention, however, also such aluminum hydroxides which are soluble in mineral acids only at temperatures above 80.degree.C and which moreover are very cheap may be used when they are reacted with aluminum chloride hexahydrate suspensions at a temperature of from 110.degree. to 150.degree.C.
