  • Publication number: 20220194205
Abstract: A motor vehicle with a scalable frame that may be used with an internal combustion engine or with an electric drive. The vehicle has at least four wheels and a frame with a central support bounded by a front transverse section, a rear transverse section and two longitudinal side profiles. The front and rear transverse sections are formed of cast metal with mechanical connector parts attached respectively to a front frame structure and a rear frame structure. The front transverse section includes cooling duct connector parts adapted to be connected to cooling fluid ducts and electrical connector parts adapted to be connected to conductors of an electric motor, the rear transverse section including electrical connector parts adapted to be connected to an electrical connector, such as a charging terminal.

  • Publication number: 20090257378
Abstract: A real-time media session is established between user equipment and a media communication server via a serving access network. According to the Invention, dummy data (e.g. a dummy message) is sent in order to maintain a dedicated channel during the inactive periods of a real-time media session or to trigger an early setup of a dedicated channel in the access network. In this manner, user equipment logged on to a real-time media (e.g. PoC) session are prevented from going to a radio resource idle state, thus avoiding potential long extra delays during real-time media (e.g. PoC) service usage. The invention further allows the sending and receiving user equipment to set up dedicated channels (DCH) already during the start-to-talk procedure of the transmitting user equipment, which in turn potentially reduces end-to-end delays during the conversation.

  • Patent number: 7489903
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide means for exchanging usage information in the multioperator mobile networks. Despite the high amount of different reporting alternatives of the present invention, they are not contradicting each other but are only options for different needs. Also the purpose of the present invention is to provide a fair and easy solution to monitor the usage of the shared network.

  • Patent number: 7474884
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for a digital receiver and a receiver exploiting second order statistics for adaptive co-channel interference rejection in wireless communication. It uses digitally I, in phase, and Q, quadrature, branches of a received transmitted signal as input to the receiver, a coarse synchronization and a coarse frequency offset compensation have being performed on the signal. It comprises a means for derotation, means for separation, means for filtering, means for estimating and means for detecting transmitted symbols in the received signal. The invention thereby improving co-channel rejection in wireless communication, thus making it possible to increase the number of communication channels for frequencies used.

  • Publication number: 20080159216
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus that receives a request for a radio connection and checks at least one of: subscriber information, a service request and terminal information. On the basis of the at least one of: subscriber information, service request and terminal information, the apparatus directs data to be delivered via the requested radio connection to different network elements of the communications system.

  • Publication number: 20040176075
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide a means for network sharing in the multioperator mobile networks. Furthermore, the object of the present invention is to cover different sharing constellations. Despite the high amount of different sharing alternatives of the present invention, they are not contradicting each other but are only options for different sharing needs.

  • Publication number: 20040166835
Abstract: This invention concerns a method for controlling at least one radio bearer parameter of a first radio bearer (RB), and a Radio Bearer Control unit. The invention introduces a continuous monitoring and controlling of the RAB-RB parameter mapping for new and for already active connections. According to the invention a method for controlling at least one radio bearer parameter of a first radio bearer (RB) to be established or maintained between a mobile terminal and a first access-network node in a first cell of a cellular radio access network is provided. The first access-network node communicates with a core-network node in a core network to establish or maintain at least one radio access bearer (RAB) between the mobile terminal and the core-network node.
