  • Patent number: 10946916
Abstract: An assisted spring seat height optimization lift device and method of use thereof is presented herein. The device is generally comprised of a seat frame attached to a scissor lift assembly that can be moved by engaging a releases mechanism attached to a lifting mechanism. The device is used to lift a handcycle user to a height that is manageable to transfer to a wheelchair independently without impeding the functionality of the handcycle.

  • Publication number: 20070137964
Abstract: An external activation clutch brake that is controlled by a switch is actuated when a clutch pedal is depressed. A compression spring, torsion spring or hydraulic valve may be used to simulate engagement of a standard clutch brake in which clutch brake squeeze is sensed by the driver. The clutch pedal has first and second phases of movement with the load required to compress the clutch pedal in a first phase being less than the load required to further compress the clutch pedal in a second phase.

  • Patent number: 5315193
Abstract: A hand-guidable electric machine tool has a casing having an air guide duct, a tool part, a motor for driving the tool part, and a radial blower for cooling the motor, the radial blower having a fan wheel for forming a static pressure differential. The air guide duct has an inlet opening and an outlet opening and continuously widening in cross-section in a direction of the outlet opening. The cross-section measured in radial direction of the inlet opening of the air guide duct is smaller than the cross-section of the outlet opening.

  • Patent number: 5146682
Abstract: A hand-held circular saw is designed so that a fan exhaust air from a fan wheel is introduced into a sawdust duct along the shortest path in a duct arranged inside a gearing housing, in order to reinforce a conveying of saw dust in the sawdust duct. The fan air is fed parallel to the movement direction of the sawdust, effects a vacuum in the sawdust duct and prevents stoppage of the duct.

  • Patent number: 4497354
Abstract: To reduce operating noise, and particularly the impact of sound pressure waves on the internal structure of the planing machine, the edges defining separating walls against which sound waves may impinge are inclined with respect to the axis of rotation of the cutter (16) or a theoretical line (46) parallel thereto, thereby extending the time of impact of individual pressure waves emanating from the cutter of incremental surface areas of the respective edges (26, 48, 50; 42, 52, 54; 30) to simultaneously attenuate the impact of the pressure waves and the timing of the impact.
