  • Publication number: 20090319463
Abstract: A presenter and a style controller are provided that can be used to create a graphical user interface that have uniform characteristics throughout an application. The graphical user interface can be made from various controls that includes rules for various characteristics. The controls can include a button, a list, and text controls for the graphical interface that contain rules for various characteristics, such as font color, font size, foreground color and background color, and others. This way a graphical user interface can be worked on by any number of designers but still maintain uniform characteristics throughout the application.

  • Patent number: 5150199
Abstract: A method for converting video RGB values developed in a digital video color analysis system into standard tristimulus or CIELAB values or the like comprises empirically determining separate RGB and XYZ color values for a plurality of colors; determining by regression analysis the value of X as a function of R, the value of Y as a function of G, and the value of Z as a function of B, using only gray scale colors where the RGB values are approximately the same; determining the X value by further regression analysis determined to find X as a function of the previously computed values of the multiple variable X, Y and Z, using color values including colors where the RGB values are not identical; determining an intermediate value of Y in the same manner as the foregoing value of X; performing an additional regression analysis to find a second intermediate value of Y as a function of the second intermediate value of Y; determining an error value representative of the difference between Y and the first intermediate

  • Patent number: 4812904
Abstract: A process for color analysis and comparison among reference and test samples for use in quality control applications or the like comprises illuminating each sample under predetermined lighting conditions, scanning the sample with a color video camera, digitalizing the video signal output to produce a digitized signal representative of the components of the color values, preferably the red-green-blue and brightness values ("RGBW"), for each pixel representative of the viewed signal, and reporting and storing the digitized data for subsequent analysis, comparison, display and printout. For comparison purposes, the pixel color values for the samples are analyzed and compared statistically to determine if the reference and test sample match. In one test, the mean of the pixel color value for each sample is ascertained and the test sample is analyzed to determine if its mean is within a tolerance limit for the reference sample expressed in terms of standard deviation values.
