Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for allowing a client application to modify failed update requests in an request queue accessible by a mobile device. As a cloud platform may provide offline data services to client applications, a device may need to synchronize a locally stored or otherwise accessible offline store with the cloud platform when connectivity returns. The client application may place failed requests into a request queue, store information about the failed requests in an error archive, and subsequently allow users to directly modify the requests in the request queue for resubmission to the cloud platform. The client application may provide an interface to users to fix the failed requests that is familiar and to the standard interface in the client application.

If the at least one request corresponds to a change to the data from the program, then the second cache stores the at least one request and the request handler sends the at least one request to the server for updating the change.

The file of the second mobile database may be stored on the mobile client device as the first mobile database.

Abstract: A security screening system to determine if an item of luggage carries an object posing a security threat. The security screening system may comprise an input for receiving image data derived from an apparatus that subjects the item of luggage to penetrating radiation, the image data conveying an image of the item of luggage. The security screening system may also comprise a processing module for processing the image data to identify in the image a plurality of regions of interest, the regions of interest manifesting a higher probability of depicting an object posing a security threat than portions of the image outside the regions of interest.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for communicating via a handheld device to Internet applications such as customer relationship management applications. Automatically generated user information, such as an electronic mail (e-mail) address, containing a certification key is used to authenticate a mobile user's access to Internet applications. Access from mobile devices, such as personal data assistants, is possible because no password is required to log in. Other security measures may be used in conjunction with providing user information to ensure access only to authorized users.

Abstract: An apparatus for performing a security screening operation on receptacles to detect presence of one or more prohibited objects in the receptacles. The apparatus may comprise an input for receiving image data conveying an image of contents of a receptacle, the image data being derived from a device that scans the receptacle with penetrating radiation. The apparatus may also comprise a processing unit for determining whether the image depicts at least one prohibited object. The apparatus may also comprise a graphical user interface (GUI) for displaying a representation of the contents of the receptacle on a basis of the image data. The GUI may also display a representation of the contents of each of one or more receptacles previously screened by the apparatus. When a detection of depiction of at least one prohibited object is made, the GUI may display information conveying a level of confidence in the detection.

The second information is derived at least in part on the basis of the detection signal. As a variant, the user interface module is adapted for providing a control allowing a user to cause third information to be displayed.
