Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus (1) and a method for contactless measuring of an object surface (2). In the proposed method, a temporally variable temperature distribution on the object surface (2) is generated by serially imprinting a plurality of thermal patterns (9) on the object surface (2). Subsequently, a thermal image of the object surface (2) is recorded by at least one thermal imaging camera (16, 17) at each of a plurality of successive recording instants, so that a respective sequence of thermal image values is acquired for points in an image plane (18, 19) of the thermal imaging camera or each of the thermal imaging cameras (16, 17).
