  • Patent number: 10648764
Abstract: A toy launcher apparatus of a soft foam dart where the dart is loaded onto a spike in a firing chamber by a pusher panel that presses against the nose of the dart. The apparatus includes a dart magazine with a feed mechanism. The pusher panel is followed by a barrier sleeve that prevents the next uppermost dart in the magazine, which is being biased upward by the feed mechanism, from causing either the uppermost dart or the second uppermost dart to distort and cause a jam. The barrier sleeve also prevents the magazine from being loaded through a top opening until the uppermost dart in the firing chamber is launched. Near the end of a cocking cycle, the pusher panel, which is connected to a cam follower tab that engages a cam member, moves away from a launch path of the dart in the firing chamber.

Date of Patent: May 12, 2020
    Assignee: HASBRO, INC.

  • Patent number: 8090427
Abstract: Methods for displaying a vessel with the aid of intravascular ultrasound images and current location and cycle information provided by detectors and sensors. A sequence of intravascular ultrasound images are stored and indexed-by location and by heartbeat and breathing phase. During a subsequent medical intervention, ultrasound images that correspond to the current phase and location of an object of interest such as a catheter can be selected and displayed on a monitor in real time along with an x-ray image of the vessel, the display showing the geometric position of the ultrasound images with reference to the x-ray image.

  • Publication number: 20100049034
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for displaying a vessel (2) with the aid of intravascular ultrasound images (I). A sequence of intravascular ultrasound images (I(E,x)) is generated by means of a probe (5) and stored in a memory (10) in a manner indexed by the associated location (x) where they were generated and also the associated heartbeat phase (E) and/or breathing phase. During a subsequent medical intervention, those ultrasound images (I1, I2, I3) which best correspond to the heartbeat phase of a current fluoroscopic image (At) or belong to the current stopping location of a catheter (13) can be selected from the memory (10) and displayed on a monitor (12).

  • Publication number: 20060257006
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and to a method for superimposed display of current (X-ray) image (A) of an object (8), such as a catheter for example, and a map image (B) of the vascular system. In this connection, for map images (B) archived in a memory (6) the associated distance images (D) are calculated by means of a distance transformation (A). In the current image (A) the object (8) is segmented (?). By means of the distance image (D), a transformation of the map image (B) is then calculated, so that, when the current image (A) and the transformed map image (?(B)) are superimposed on a monitor (10), the image of the object (8) lies in the path network of the transformed map image.
