Patent number: 11844530Abstract: A saw gear set comprising a set of saw blades and a saw drive (1), wherein each saw blade of the set is configured to be coupled to the saw drive (1) by means of a coupling mechanism (100), which coupling mechanism (100) is configured to transmit a driving force of the saw drive (1) to the saw blade in a force transmission point, for oscillating the saw blade around a pivot axis (300). Each saw blade of the set is configured to be pivotably borne around the pivot axis (300). In operation, an oscillation angle (?) around the pivot axis (300) is different for each saw blade of the set depending on a pivot distance between the pivot axis (300) and the force transmission point which varies for each saw blade of the set.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2021Date of Patent: December 19, 2023Assignee: Synthes GmbHInventors: Nils Schmuckli, Stefan Gisler, Markus Hermann, Robert Goossen, Martin Muench

Patent number: 11309764Abstract: Systems and apparatus for reliably sealing a surgical device are disclosed herein. Specifically, a surgical device including a drive shaft tube that is coupled to a drive shaft is disclosed. Because the drive shaft tube is coupled to the drive shaft, the drive shaft tube rotates at the same rotational speed as the drive shaft, which is less than the rotational speed of a cannulated motor shaft. The drive shaft tube can extend through the cannulated motor shaft. In addition, a sealing member can be provided to seal between the drive shaft tube (which rotates slowly) and the motor instead of between the motor shaft (which rotates more quickly) and the motor. The sealing member can be provided in a gap defined between an outer surface of a portion of the drive shaft tube extending beyond the cannulated motor shaft and the motor.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2020Date of Patent: April 19, 2022Assignee: DePuy Synthes Products, Inc.Inventors: Urs Dürrenberger, Martin Münch, Nils Schmuckli

Patent number: 6382031Abstract: A pressure gauge device that is operated as a thermal conduction manometer contains a measuring resistor (131) that is arranged in layer form on a self-supporting carrier foil and is in defined thermal contact with a gas whose pressure is to be measured. The thermal contact with the gas is through the carrier foil (11), a thermal conducting layer (123) and optionally through an extra absorber layer (124). The resistance, dependent on gas pressure, of the measuring resistor (131) is detected by a bridge circuit in which each measuring resistor (131) is assigned a reference resistor (136) whose resistance itself is dependent on or independent of pressure.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 1999Date of Patent: May 7, 2002Assignee: Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zur Forderung der Wissenschaften e.
