  • Publication number: 20250049361
Abstract: A container configured to store tools used by a healthcare worker when performing a blood draw and collection procedure includes a tray and packaging. The tray includes a plurality of chambers sized to receive the tools used by the healthcare worker for the blood draw and collection procedure. The tools include at least one disposable disinfecting device for disinfecting portions of the tools and at least one tube for storing a blood sample. The packing, when in a closed or prior-to-use position, is over openings of the plurality of chambers of the tray, thereby securely containing the tools within the chambers of the tray. In an open or ready-for-use position, the packaging is separated from the openings of the plurality of chambers of the tray so that the healthcare worker can access the tools contained within the chambers while performing the blood draw and collection procedure.

  • Patent number: 12223290
Abstract: A decimal floating-point instruction is executed in a round-for-reround mode. The decimal floating-point instruction is configured to perform a decimal floating-point operation on a decimal floating-point operand. The executing includes forming based on performing the decimal floating-point operation, an intermediate result having a high order portion and a low order portion. The high order portion has a least significant digit. A rounded-for-reround number is created from the intermediate result. The rounded-for-reround number includes the high order portion of the intermediate result and based on the least significant coefficient digit of the high order portion being a selected value and based on the low order portion having another selected value, the least significant digit of the rounded-for-reround number is incremented. The rounded-for-reround number is stored.

  • Publication number: 20220253875
Abstract: A system and method generation of adjustable automated forecasts for a promotion. The method includes: determining, using a machine learning model, a set of forecasts each based on different parameters; determining at least one set of optimized parameters that maximize an outcome measure of the forecast for the promotion; generating a graphical representation of the forecast; receiving an adjustment to at least one parameter from a user; determining an adjusted outcome measure of the forecast for the promotion by applying the adjustment to the machine learning model; generating an adjusted graphical representation of the forecast; and displaying the adjusted graphical representation to the user.

  • Patent number: 9846463
Abstract: A processor is described that includes a quick signal path from an input of the processor to logic circuitry within the processor. The input is to receive a fast throttle down signal. The logic circuitry is to throttle down a rate at which the processor issues instructions for execution in response to the fast throttle down signal. The quick signal path is to impose practicably minimal propagation delay of the fast throttle down signal within the processor.

  • Patent number: 4155011
Abstract: An apparatus for treating a substrate with an ion beam comprising a closed ousing which defines a substantially evacuatable chamber, a drum having a circumferential portion with an annular inside surface rotatably mounted in the chamber, drive means connected to the drum for rotating it at a selected speed to establish a centrifugal force toward the annular inside surface of the drum and ion beam generating means associated with the housing for directing an ion beam into the chamber and toward the annular inside surface. A substrate is supportable on the inside surface of the drum and conforms with the surface so as to be closely associated therewith under the influence of the centrifugal force. This association establishes a thermally conductive relationship between the substrate and the circumferential portion so that heat generated in the substrate due to the ion beam can be dissipated through the circumferential portion of the drum.
