  • Patent number: 10581341
Abstract: A current converter circuit in a modular multilevel topology includes an AC voltage terminal with a first phase terminal and a further voltage terminal with a plus and a minus terminal. The current converter circuit includes two arms, wherein the first arm connects the first phase terminal and the first terminal and the second arm the second phase terminal and the minus terminal. Each arm includes at least two submodules connected in series, wherein one of the at least two submodules is implemented as analog cell including a passive device as well as an electric circuit. The passive device is connected in parallel to the electric circuit and connected in series with respect to the other one of the at least two submodules.

  • Patent number: 7800220
Abstract: The invention concerns a power electronic arrangement comprising an insulating substrate, a cooling element arranged beneath the insulating substrate and one or more power electronic components disposed on a respective metallization surface of the insulating substrate. Disposed on the surface of the insulating substrate is a metal layer portion which projects beyond the insulating substrate at all sides. The region of the metal layer portion, that projects beyond the insulating substrate, forms a metal flange which borders the insulating substrate. The cooling element, on its side towards the insulating substrate, beneath the insulating substrate, has one or more recesses, whereby a cavity delimited by the insulating substrate and wall surfaces of the one or more recesses is formed beneath the insulating substrate for receiving a liquid cooling agent. The metal flange is further connected to the cooling element.

  • Patent number: 6404041
Abstract: The power switch has considerably reduced common-mode interference and relatively reduced circuit complexity. The power switch is formed of a semiconductor chip on a leadframe. A first terminal of the semiconductor chip is connected to the active potential and a second terminal for inactive potential is connected to the leadframe. The second terminal is either the drain of a transistor or the anode of a diode.

  • Patent number: 6388287
Abstract: The invention relates to a switching transistor presenting reduced switching losses. In the switching transistor, output capacitance is very high when drain/source voltages are low. As the drain/source voltage increases, the capacitance falls to such low values that the energy stored in the transistor becomes very low.

  • Patent number: 5031189
Abstract: The stability of the frequency and/or the efficiency of a laser ultimately depends on the constancy of the resonator length. To ensure this demand the resonator elements are mounted on holders supported by longitudinal stabilizer bars, with the holders and bars being made of ceramic material.
