  • Publication number: 20230243039
Abstract: A sensitizing solution, especially a sensitizing solution for sensitizing surfaces, containing a solution of tin(II) chloride SnCl2 and distilled water, especially for sensitizing non-conductive surfaces, which further contains glycerine. A method of preparation of the sensitizing solution, especially the method of preparation of the sensitizing solution, according to which the solution of tin(II) chloride SnCl2 and distilled water is mixed with a reducing agent, which is glycerine.

  • Patent number: 8177237
Abstract: A segmented piston ring assembly includes piston ring segments 2 having stepped ends 5, 6, at least one piston ring segment 2 including a radial step on a radially inner peripheral surface 9 over a part of the width of the piston ring segment 2, and a single-cut sealing ring 3, which bears radially against the inside of the peripheral surface 9 of the piston ring segments 2, the sealing ring 3 including an axial recess 10, 12 which cooperates with the radial step 4 of the piston ring segment 2 to prevent relative rotation therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20090179386
Abstract: Gastight piston ring arrangements require an active seal in the axial and radial directions in order to be able to obtain a high sealing effect. At the same time, the piston ring arrangement, while maintaining the sealing effect both on the sealing surface and between the parts of the piston ring arrangement, must be capable of readjustment in the event of continued wear. For a segmented piston ring comprising piston ring segments 2 having stepped ends 5, 6, this is achieved according to the invention by the fact that on at least one piston ring segment 2, on the radially inner peripheral surface 9 over a part of the width of the piston ring segment 2, a radial step 4 is provided, and a single-cut sealing ring 3 is provided, which bears radially against the inside of the peripheral surface 9 of the piston ring segments 2, and on the sealing ring 3 an axial recess 10, 12 is provided, which cooperates with the radial step 4 of the piston ring segment 2.

  • Patent number: 4226048
Abstract: A plant growing assembly comprising a first housing adapted to retain water therein, the housing having an opening in an upper surface thereof, a second housing adapted to retain a plant therein, the opening being shaped complementarily to the second housing and being adapted to receive and retain the second housing therein, a support in the first housing for supporting the second housing at the bottom of the second housing, and a water transfer element extending through an opening in the second housing and interconnecting the interior of the first housing and the interior of the second housing, whereby to transfer water in the first housing to the plant in the second housing.
