  • Patent number: 12138906
Abstract: A method for assembling a hollow cylinder on, or removing a hollow cylinder from, a further cylinder. The hollow cylinder includes a body with openings for creating an air cushion within a first portion of a shell and a second portion of the shell is gas-impervious or has openings for creating an air cushion of a reduced quantity and/or size compared to the first portion. The openings are connected to a gas feed and a gas inlet inside the body. The further cylinder has openings on a shell and gas is fed though the openings via an internal gas supply. An assembly method includes providing the hollow cylinder, applying a seal to the first portion to prevent escape of gas from the first portion, providing the further cylinder, applying gas to the further cylinder so that gas escapes from the openings, and pushing the hollow cylinder onto the further cylinder.

  • Patent number: 12118349
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining, at an operator executed on a server that is separate from an application, whether to perform an update of the application. The operator may perform an upgrade precheck when it is determined that the update to the application is to be performed. The precheck may include determining whether a database migration is to be performed as part of the update to the application, and receiving an update mode and an update type to determine the upgrade to the application. The operator may provide to the application via an application program interface (API), one or more application shutdown configuration parameters for the update based on the received update mode and update type of the upgrade precheck. • Publication number: 20240334587
Abstract: An electronic assembly has a circuit board and two or more heat sinks arranged on the printed circuit board, each having a straight air duct section from an air inlet opening of the heat sink to an air outlet opening of the heat sink. The heat sinks are spaced apart from each other one behind another in a row by intervening spaces, with their air duct sections lying in a straight line and forming an air duct. Through-hole-mounted THT components, which in each case rest against an outside surface of one of the heat sinks, have connecting pins secured in the printed circuit board.
