  • Patent number: 11762258
Abstract: A light attenuator that provides transparent light states and absorbing dark states for use in selectively controlling light, especially for smart glass applications. The light attenuator includes abutting areas of attenuation and transparency that form a repeat pattern or a quasi-repeat pattern. The attenuating areas are visible when the light attenuator is in the light state, but the repeat pattern is sufficiently large that a viewer looks through the attenuator and sees no haze.

  • Patent number: 11693634
Abstract: Certain aspects involve building segment-specific executable program code. In one example, a code-building service can execute segmentation logic that assigns different target entity records to different segments based on differences between sets of attribute values among the target entity records. The code-building service can select, for each segment, a set of data assets that is specific to the assigned segment and a set of source code portions that is specific to the selected data assets. The code-building service can order each set of the source code portions based on an identified modeling output type for the target entity records. The code-building service can generate, from the ordered source code portions, a set of program code referencing the selected subset of the data assets. For instance, the generated program code, if executed, can generate and transmit different modeling outputs for different target entity records.

  • Patent number: 11581474
Abstract: Techniques for forming quantum circuits, including connections between components of quantum circuits, are presented. A trench can be formed in a dielectric material, by removing a portion of the dielectric material and a portion of conductive material layered on top of the dielectric material, to enable creation of circuit components of a circuit. The trench can define a regular nub or compensated nub to facilitate creating electrical leads connected to the circuit components on a nub. The compensated nub can comprise recessed regions to facilitate depositing material during evaporation to form the leads. For compensated nub implementation, material can be evaporated in two directions, with oxidation performed in between such evaporations, to contact leads and form a Josephson junction. For regular nub implementation, material can be evaporated in four directions, with oxidation performed in between the third and fourth evaporations, to contact leads and form a Josephson junction.
