  • Patent number: 11903570
Abstract: A method of treating a vessel in a subject comprises the steps of advancing a device distally across a treatment zone in a vessel, wherein the device comprises an elongated catheter having a lumen and a distal end, and a radially expansive treatment element disposed in the lumen and configured for axial movement relative to the catheter; deploying the radially expansive treatment element proud of the distal end of the catheter to radially expand and circumferentially impress against the vessel lumen at a distal end of the treatment zone; and withdrawing the deployed radially expansive treatment element proximally along the treatment zone with the treatment element circumferentially impressed against the vessel lumen to mechanically and circumferentially denude the treatment zone of the vessel. The radially expansive treatment element is then recaptured into the lumen of the catheter, before the device is withdrawn from the treated vessel.

  • Publication number: 20230371686
Abstract: A drive apparatus fits into a storage cabinet with a storage unit with shelves and is suited for mounting on a wall above a worktop. A push/pull mechanism pushes the storage unit outwardly from the housing, and a separate vertical drive mechanism then lowers the storage unit to a level beneath the housing, where it is accessible. Because the storage unit is initially pushed outwardly to a to extended position, when it is lowered it does not impact on items directly underneath the cabinet. Hence the cabinet may be fitted in a conventional arrangement. A door drive mechanism allows automated opening and closing of the doors, but if they are opened manually the drive mechanism remains disengaged. Upon automated door closure the door mechanism disengages when nearly closed due to the mutual physical arrangement of the mechanism components, thereby allowing the door's own soft hinge to complete the door closure, thereby avoiding pinch points and allowing the next door opening to be either manual or automated.

  • Publication number: 20230340795
Abstract: A method of sealing a leaking crack in a structure involves drilling a delivery channel into the structure adjacent the crack and in towards the crack to join the crack. A delivery nozzle is inserted into the delivery channel to inject a sealant comprising latex and water under pressure into the crack. The sealant may be injected until the sealant forms a seepage on an exterior surface of the crack which is sprayed with a reactive agent to cure the sealant to form a skin. Thereafter further sealant may be injected via the delivery channel after the skin is formed to enhance the ingress of sealant within the crack.
