  • Patent number: 11718498
Abstract: An adjustable spooling apparatus for storing and unwinding a cable formed into a coil and having a coil diameter, the adjustable spooling apparatus comprising a central hub, a pair of adjustable arms movably engaged with the central hub, and a rotating handle. The adjustable arms each have a coil retention member, and can be selectively extended or retracted to increase or decrease a retention member distance measured between the coil retention members of the two adjustable arms to match the coil diameter. The rotating handle is attached to the central hub, and allows the adjustable spooling apparatus to rotate when the cable is pulled to facilitate unwinding of the coil. The adjustable spooling apparatus further comprises a pair of pivoting arms to prevent the coil from being dislodged, and an engagement point for a power tool to facilitate rapid winding of the cable by rotating the adjustable spooling apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10000360
Abstract: A resizable cord holder for storing and unwinding cord bundles has two elongated C-channel arms connected adjacent to each other to form a supporting base. The arms are connected to each other by a handle, which is installed into corresponding handle holes in the two arms. The total length of the supporting base can be adjusted by reselecting which holes the handle is installed into. The supporting base can rotate relative to the handle for unwinding an installed cord bundle. Cord bundles are held in place by two retainer mounts at opposite ends of the supporting base. A separation member of the retainer mounts traverses through the arms, connecting a locking member and a retainer member on opposite sides of the arms, with the locking members within the C-channels. Coil springs around the separation members apply retaining tension to the locking members against the inner surface of the C-channels.

  • Patent number: 5528468
Abstract: A lighting fixture for attachment to a door post of an automobile having automobile electric circuitry includes a boot member for fitting against the door post, a mounting plate for fitting over the boot and including a light socket receiving structure, structure for securing the plate to the door post, so that the boot member is retained between the plate and the door post, a light socket for insertion into the light socket receiving structure, a light source for insertion into the light socket, a lens for removably securing over the plate with lens securing fasteners, and a fixture circuit for electrically connecting the light socket to the automobile electric circuitry. The socket preferably includes a socket screw having a screw head end and a light bulb receiving recess in the screw head end, and having an axial bore through which a positive fixture lead wire is fitted for electrically connecting the base of a light bulb with the automobile electric circuitry.
