  • Patent number: 7993069
Abstract: A double ball joint device comprises a housing, a first joint element having a first ball mounted in the housing, and a first shaft attached to a portion of the first ball protruding through an opening in the housing, and a second joint element having a second ball, which is mounted similar to the first ball and is provided with a corresponding second shaft. A locking washer is arranged between the first and second balls and has a first seat for receiving the first ball, and an opposite second seat for receiving the second ball. An operation member is operable between a released state, where the joint elements are pivotable, and a locked state, where it urges the locking washer to clamp lock the joint elements in a current position. When moving the operation member to the locked state it urges the washer to an off-centre position.

  • Publication number: 20100173286
Abstract: A mutated bacterial cell producing at least one heterologous polypeptide of interest, wherein said cell has a reduced expression-level of YugJ (SEQ ID NO: 2) or a homologue thereof when compared with an otherwise isogenic but non-mutated cell; methods for producing said cell, and methods for producing a polypeptide of interest using said cell.

  • Publication number: 20100075376
Abstract: The present invention relates to cells producing at least one polypeptide of interest and expressing one or more recombinant nuclease encoding gene(s) thereby producing the nuclease(s), and methods for producing a polypeptide of interest essentially free from contaminating DNA, said method comprising the steps of: (a) cultivating a cell that produces at least one polypeptide of interest and expresses one or more recombinant nuclease encoding gene(s) thereby producing the nuclease(s); and (b) isolating the polypeptide of interest.

  • Publication number: 20090136290
Abstract: This invention relates to a double ball joint device comprising: a housing; a first joint element comprising a first ball, wherein a major portion of said first ball is mounted and retained within said housing and a minor portion of the first ball protrudes from said housing through a first opening thereof, and a first shaft, which is attached to the first ball at said minor portion thereof; a second joint element comprising a second ball, wherein a major portion of said second ball is mounted and retained within said housing and a minor portion of the second ball protrudes from said housing through a second opening thereof, and a second shaft, which is attached to the second ball at said minor portion thereof; a locking washer, which is arranged between said first and second balls and which comprises a first seat for receiving said first ball, and an opposite second seat for receiving said second ball, and an operation member, which is operable between a locked state where it urges said locking washer to

  • Patent number: 6792717
Abstract: A sliding door operating mechanism for a vehicle to provide access to the vehicle through an opening in a wall thereof, includes at least one sliding door and a reciprocating power mechanism and a transmission mechanism for transmitting movement of power to the door for performing opening, closing and locking movements thereof. A beam structure carries the door, the power mechanism and the transmission mechanism. The beam structure extends across and is accommodated within an upper portion of the opening so as to be slidingly movably driven by the power mechanism between a relatively retracted position within the opening, in which the door is located in a first plane in a closed position confirmed within the opening, and a relatively less retracted position, in which the door is located in a second plane exteriorly of the opening allowing movement of the door along the second plane.
