Abstract: An industrial integrated development environment (IDE) supports device profile development tools that allow new device profiles to be created easily using predefined reusable profile templates together with profile configuration files that define the backend IDE services and industrial device bindings for the profile. Using this development platform, a single device profile template can be used as the basis for multiple different device profiles, each customized using a text-based profile configuration file. This can reduce the time and effort required to create device profiles for new devices, and can also reduce the storage space required for the device profile library.

Abstract: An industrial integrated development environment (IDE) can dynamically generate user interfaces for device profiles using predefined reusable profile templates together with data models of the devices for which the device profile interfaces are to be created. The device profile template defines features or components of profile interface views that are reusable across multiple different devices. The industrial IDE determines which interface features defined by the device profile template are required to support the device's data and supported features defined by the data model, and dynamically adapts the device profile template to yield a suitable device profile interface that can be used to view and edit the device's data and configuration parameter values.

A plurality of data, such as video files, audio files, image files, document files, lesson templates, animations and the like, are received from a teacher, a supervisor, and the like, via a computer network. The received data is stored in a dynamic digital image library. The dynamic digital image library includes means for organizing the received data into easily identifiable and searchable curriculum categories. The received data is further used for generating visually-based lessons corresponding to the plurality of categories associated therewith, which lessons are stored in a digital interactive visual lesson library. The stored visually-based lessons are customized using personalized and other additional data and stored.

Abstract: A wheel end or other assembly for facilitating rotation about an axis includes a tubular housing, a spindle that extends into the housing, and a double row antifriction bearing between the housing and spindle. The bearing includes at least one separate inner race that fits over the spindle, with the axial position of that race determining the setting for the bearing. Preferably, a spacer fits around the spindle between the inner race and a backing element. The assembly is unitized by deforming the end of the spindle outwardly against the end of the separate inner race with the deformation being sufficient to drive the inner race toward the backing element and collapse the spacer, if present. The deformation of the end of the spindle continues until bearing produces a torque that reflects a desired preload in the bearing.

Abstract: A hitch assembly includes a base member, an extension arm and an A-frame for supporting any of a plurality of implements. An elevating cylinder is connected to raise and lower the extension arm. Additionally, lateral cylinders are synchronized to move in unison to pivot the hitch assembly laterally side to side. The first respective ports of the lateral cylinders are directly connected together facilitate synchronous movement. A universal joint is connected between the arm and A-frame to coordinate up and down and left and right movement of the hitch assembly.
