  • Publication number: 20240405364
Abstract: An assembly set for a venting unit for venting an electronics housing includes a housing including a base body with an inner opening, the base body configured to connect to a pressure compensation and/or degassing opening of the electronics housing, and an inlet configured to be inserted in the inner opening and to cover the inner opening in a water-tight manner. The inlet includes an inlet body with an inlet opening, a semipermeable membrane covering the inlet opening and enabling passage of gaseous media from an environment into the electronics housing and from the electronics housing to the environment, but preventing passage of liquid media and solids, and a spike element arranged at the inlet body on an outer side of the semipermeable membrane, the spike element being configured to rupture the semipermeable membrane in case of an excessive overpressure inside the electronics housing.

  • Publication number: 20240186650
Abstract: A degassing unit for a battery housing is connectable fluid-tightly to a rim of a pressure compensation opening of the battery housing. The degassing unit has a main body provided with a gas passage opening and a fastening region for attachment of the degassing unit at the battery housing. A membrane covers the gas passage opening. A fluid-permeable membrane support device spans the membrane at an inner side of the membrane. A membrane carrier separate from the main body is connected by a reversibly detachable fastening device to the main body such that a movement of membrane carrier and main body relative to each other is blocked at least axially. The membrane carrier is sealed around the gas passage opening circumferentially fluid-tightly relative to the main body. The membrane is fastened by material fusion to the membrane carrier. A battery housing with such a degassing unit is provided.

  • Publication number: 20240088514
Abstract: A degassing unit for a battery housing has a main body to be connected fluid-tightly to a rim of a housing opening of the battery housing. The main body has a gas passage opening. A membrane is connected fluid-tightly to a rim of the main body surrounding the gas passage opening. The membrane is areally stretched across the gas passage opening and closes it. The membrane bursts at a predetermined burst pressure to release the gas passage opening. The membrane is a film composite with at least a first film and a second film arranged on each other. The first film has a cutout covered by the second film so as to surround the cutout. At least one of the first and second films is connected to the rim surrounding the gas passage opening. A battery housing with such a degassing unit is provided.

  • Publication number: 20230318124
Abstract: A degassing unit assembly for closing a housing opening of a battery housing has degassing units arranged adjoining each other, each having a carrier body with a gas through-opening for discharging gases or pressure compensation. The gas through-opening extends continuously through the carrier body in axial direction. The carrier body has a rim surrounding the gas through-opening. The rim has at least one fastening dome and at least one contact region. At least two of the degassing units are end pieces. In a mounted state of the degassing units, the fastening dome of the carrier body of a first degassing unit forms, at least in sections, an overlap region in axial direction with the contact region of the carrier body of a second degassing unit adjoining the first degassing unit. A degassing unit for such an assembly and a battery housing comprising such an assembly are provided.

  • Publication number: 20220344772
Abstract: A venting unit for a housing has a base body to be connected fluid-tightly to an edge of a housing opening of the housing. The base body has an exterior side and an inner side. The base body has a gas passage opening and a rim surrounding it. A membrane areally spans the gas passage opening transversely to an axial direction of the base body. The membrane is connected fluid-tightly to the base body at the rim of the base body and is arranged at the inner side of the base body. A clamping frame is connected to the base body at the inner side in a region radially outside of the rim of the base body. The clamping frame has a circumferentially extending clamping surface exerting a clamping force on the membrane to hold the membrane with friction fit between clamping frame and rim of the base body.

  • Patent number: 8561451
Abstract: A system and method for producing flat tubes is described and illustrated. The flat tubes can be produced from at least one strip of endless band material having at least one wall part and an inner part formed with corrugations on a roller train provided with roller pairs, with the strip running in a longitudinal direction through the rollers and being shaped. The inner part of the flat tube can be formed with corrugations placed between the shaped wall parts, after which the closure of the flat tube is carried out. Production of the flat tubes can include forming spaced apart band thinning lines running in the longitudinal direction of the strip, and forming corrugation peaks and corrugation troughs at the band thinning lines.

  • Patent number: 8353335
Abstract: Flat heat exchanger tubes having two narrow and two broad sides are shown and described, wherein the flat tubes can be manufactured from two continuous strips having a relatively large curve on one longitudinal edge of the strips and having a relatively small curve on the other longitudinal edge of the strips. The two strips can be arranged laterally transposed with respect to one another to form the wall of the flat tubes, so that the relatively large curve of the longitudinal edge of one strip holds in itself the relatively small curve of the longitudinal edge of the other strip to form the narrow sides of the flat tubes. The strips can be formed with at least one further contoured portion which extends in the longitudinal direction of the flat tubes and which improves cohesion of the flat tube.
