Abstract: A head protection device (2), for protecting the head, includes a head bracket (4), with a visor (8) fastened rotatably to the head bracket (4) via two swivel joints (6), and with a branched air duct (10), which has one air inlet (12) and a plurality of air outlets (14). At least one of the air outlets (14) is arranged as a chin air outlet (20) at a lateral section (22) of the visor. At least one of the swivel joints (6) forms an inner air channel (24) extending as a part of the air duct (10) from the head bracket (4) to the visor (8). In addition, a respirator device is provided with the head protection device (2).

Abstract: A safety hood (1), with a head strap (7) for fixation on the head (6) of a user of the hood, has features for adjusting the head strap (7) to different head sizes and/or head shapes. The respirator hood (1) has, further, a visor pane (4) and a flexible hood outer skin (8), which are connected with one another and of which the visor pane (4) is indirectly or directly fastened to the head strap (7). The visor pane (4) is fastened indirectly or directly to the head strap (7) exclusively in the area (10) of the forehead of the user of the hood.

The lenses are mounted in an axially displaceable manner. A rotating movement initiated by the rotating element is translated into a rotating movement with a larger angle of rotation by means of a gear transmission stage.
