  • Patent number: 5821768
Abstract: For interference-free transmission of high-frequency signals, the receiver must be terminated with the characteristic impedance of the transmission line. This can be achieved by a single base-connection circuit, but in this case the input impedance is dependent on the current flow and is therefore not exactly constant. Adding a second base-connection circuit makes the circuit symmetrical, so that opposite effects are canceled, which makes the input impedance constant. Production in both bipolar technology and in MOS technology is possible.

  • Patent number: 5631580
Abstract: An input stage of a level converter for converting an ECL compatible signal to an MOS compatible signal is formed as a differential amplifier. The differential amplifier produces a current that is coupled directly to a first transistor of a pair of complementary transistors, during a transition interval, to turn on the first transistor. An output signal of the first transistor is fed back to a control terminal of the first transistor via a first inverter. Consequently, the first transistor is actively turned off immediately following the transition interval. A second inverter and the first inverter form a latch for maintaining the output signal unchanged, after the first transistor is turned off.

  • Patent number: 5392197
Abstract: The electric device has a printed circuit board (10) which carries an electronic circuit with electronic components (12). The circuit is provided with a plug connector strip (14) for making electrical contact. In addition to the housing cover (27) and housing base (32), additional plastic coverings (16, 23) which are tight against moisture are provided to protect the circuit against moisture in a reliable manner and cover the printed circuit board on the upper side (11) and the underside (22) in the manner of a hood. These plastic parts are connected with the printed circuit board so as to be tight against moisture. The housing cover (27) and housing base (30) need not carry out any sealing functions and serve exclusively to protect against mechanical damage and, under certain circumstances, for shielding.

  • Patent number: 5108728
Abstract: A process is disclosed for the production of granulated dicalcium phosphate dihydrate from fine-grained, powered dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, wherein 80 t0 95% of dicalcium phosphate dihydrate with a grain size of less than 120 .mu.m and 20 to 5% of calcium hydroxide with a grain size of less than 120 .mu.m are dry mixed and continuously sprayed and granulated in a fluidized bed with 20 to 50% of water, relative to the amount of solids, in which is contained an amount of phosphoric acid sufficient for the neutralization of the calcium hydroxide. The granulate obtained is dried at a temperature of 150.degree. to 200.degree. C., and the portions of coarse and fine grained material are optionally sieved off.
