  • Patent number: 10633563
Abstract: The invention relates to a barrier adhesive mass having high breakthrough times for water and also providing a good adhesive performance. This is achieved by a barrier adhesive mass comprising at least one elastomer and at least one reactive resin, and is characterised in that the barrier adhesive mass comprises at least one polymer G containing at least two functions suitable for constructing a polymer, as well as at least two hydrolysable silyl groups. The invention also relates to an adhesive tape comprising a barrier adhesive mass according to the invention, and to the use of an adhesive mass of this type for sealing electronic assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20190284448
Abstract: A barrier adhesive comprising an adhesive base composed of at least one reactive resin having at least one activatable group, at least one elastomer, optionally at least one adhesive resin, wherein the adhesive base has a water vapour permeation rate after the activation of the reactive resin of less than 100 g/m2d, preferably of less than 50 g/m2d, especially less than 15 g/m2d, further comprising a transparent molecularly dispersed getter material and optionally a solvent, in which the getter material is at least one cyclic azasilane, has very long lag times and can be used over an area for encapsulation of organic electronic structures, since the sensitive structures are not damaged.
