  • Publication number: 20230035654
Abstract: A clamping device for clamping at least one cell for storing electrical energy includes a downholder ,by which a cell connector can be placed on the cell or the cells without gaps at least in some sections, wherein for each cell a separate downholder is provided, wherein the downholder(s) can be tensioned against the cell or the cells.

  • Patent number: 10916757
Abstract: A battery, a battery module for the battery, and a bus bar therefor for connecting battery cells are disclosed, said bus bar having an electrically conductive metal sheet and at least one sheet metal connector, which is produced in the metal sheet by means of a cutting method and has a contact section that is offset out from the sheet plane for electrically connecting to a pole of the battery cell, at least one electrical fuse, and a suspension section, which is provided between the metal sheet and the contact section, with the suspension section being divided into at least two electrically parallel leg sections. In order to achieve a durable and structurally simple bus bar with a fuse, it is proposed that the fuse be composed of the two electrically parallel leg sections.

  • Patent number: 10777787
Abstract: A battery is provided that includes a plurality of electrically coupled battery modules. Each battery module includes a plurality of combined battery cells having positive and negative poles arranged at opposing end faces of the battery module. Each battery module also includes a busbars electrically connecting said positive poles and a busbar connecting said negative poles. The battery includes an electrical insulation and a heat conducting plate arranged at one end face of the battery modules for cooling and/or heating the battery cells thereof. The heat conducting plate is provided at an end face of the battery modules that includes poles of the battery cells. The electrical insulation, which is formed as a thermal contact element, is located between the busbars of the battery modules and the heat conducting plate. The positive and negative poles of the battery cells are located on opposing end faces of each battery module.

  • Patent number: 10770708
Abstract: A battery, a battery pack for the battery, and a busbar for connecting battery cells, the busbar having an electrically conductive metal sheet and having at least one sheet metal connector piece, which is incorporated into the metal sheet with the aid of a cutting method and which protrudes from the metal sheet; the sheet metal connector piece has a contacting part for electrically connecting to a pole of the battery cell and a safety part embodied in the form of a fuse. In order to create a busbar that is durable and simply designed and nevertheless has a high degree of fire safety, it is proposed that the safety part be embodied in the form of a coiled helical spring.
