  • Patent number: 10816377
Abstract: A Coriolis mass flow meter, comprising a housing with an inlet and an outlet for a fluid medium, which are arranged along a flow axis, two measuring tubes configured to allow the fluid medium to flow through them in a flow direction and arranged between the inlet and the outlet and having a measuring tube circumference on their external surface, a fixing element which connects the two measuring tubes in the region of the inlet and/or the outlet in such a manner that they are fixed in position relative to one another, wherein the fixing element includes a first connecting member and a second connecting member connected to both measuring tubes, and wherein each of the connecting members rests against the measuring tubes in such a manner that a part of the measuring tube circumference of each measuring tube remains free.

  • Publication number: 20190277682
Abstract: The invention relates to a Coriolis mass flow meter, comprising a housing with an inlet and an outlet for a fluid medium, which are arranged along a flow axis (d), at least one measuring tube configured to allow the fluid medium to flow through it in a flow direction (x) and arranged between the inlet and the outlet, wherein the measuring tube includes at least one section with an oval cross-section, so that the measuring tube in this section comprises, perpendicular to the flow direction (x), a longer axis (a) and a shorter axis (b), a vibration exciter (D) configured to cause the measuring tube to vibrate in a vibration direction (f), and two vibration sensors for detection of the movements of the measuring tube, wherein the longer axis (a) of the oval cross-section of the measuring tube is oriented essentially in the vibration direction (f). Moreover, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a Coriolis mass flow meter with little pressure dependence.

  • Patent number: 8931354
Abstract: The invention relates to a Coriolis mass flow meter with improved zero point stability. The Coriolis mass flow meter has a pair of U-shaped measuring tubes. According to one embodiment of the invention, the Coriolis mass flow meter comprises a special housing for vibration compensation or vibration suppression in the region of the process connectors. Additionally or alternatively, a specific mass distribution of the vibration exciter and/or vibration sensor is provided, in order to neutralize unwanted vibrations by actively causing vibration.
