Abstract: A sports field marking system that is operable to measure and provide the location required on a field where a football must be advanced to in order to achieve a first down during play of a conventional football game. The sports field marking system includes a first down marker pole placed on a sideline of a football field with a second first down marker pole being placed in axial alignment with the first down marker pole on the opposing sideline. The first down marker pole and second down marker pole include laser emitters operable to project a visible light beam across the surface of the field of play. A down display marker pole is provided and is placed in axial alignment with the first down marker pole on the same sideline. A first laser rangefinder and a second laser rangefinder are mounted to the down display marker pole.

A stored list of population members, e.g., hydrocarbon reservoirs, characteristics and analogous members is partitioned into lists for each member. A weighting system automatically uses the partitions to determine a weight set (w*) for population member characteristic and a similarity function. The weighting system may include an objective model that iteratively, blindly identifies analogous members for each population member until the identified analogous members match the listed analogous members. An analogous member selector uses the weights set (w*) and similarity function to automatically select analogous listed members for each new population member.

The microfluidic system also comprises an elongated bar having a proximal end contacting the liquid reservoir in the opening, a distal section at which a micro-droplet is formed, and a middle section continuously maintaining thereon a liquid bridge between the reservoir and the micro-droplet.

In one embodiment, the present invention can use a mobile device identifier, such as a cell phone number or email address, for example, as an index/reference during the entire transaction, so that only the account holder and the account issuer know the underlying account number and other private information.

Abstract: A portable outdoor cooking and decorative appliance including a combustion compartment and a separate oven compartment. The appliance can burn a variety of solid, liquid, and/or gaseous fuels. Material combustion products are inhibited from contacting food items inside the oven compartment to avoid contamination and transfer of undesired tastes, smells, and materials. The appliance is constructed to more efficiently transfer heat to the oven compartment to improve cooking speed and capability and reduce fuel needed. The appliance can include transparent doors such that users can view the interior of the appliance during use, without opening the doors.
