  • Publication number: 20180345896
Abstract: An occupant safety system for a vehicle seat is disclosed. The motor vehicle seat has a seat face, a backrest that is adjacent to the seat face and a headrest that is arranged at an upper side of the backrest. At least one airbag is arranged in the headrest. The at least one airbag is constructed in such a manner that, in an inflated state, the at least one airbag prevents an occupant without any belt system from contacting a vehicle roof by acting on shoulders of an occupant in the seat.

  • Patent number: 10118646
Abstract: A chassis-subframe is attached to a vehicle body and is connected via a plurality of fasteners to high load-bearing body parts. The chassis subframe is connected to the load-bearing body parts by the fasteners indirectly via a sacrificial plate. From a specific relative force acting substantially in the vehicle longitudinal direction between the chassis subframe and the sacrificial plate, the fasteners are pulled out of said sacrificial plate, immediately in the case of a displacement movement of the chassis subframe occurring to the rear, viewed in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The fasteners are arranged by the sacrificial plate relative to the load-bearing body parts such that, after being pulled out, the fasteners are able to move freely to the rear in the vehicle longitudinal direction, without interacting with the, or another of the, load-bearing body parts.

  • Publication number: 20170246943
Abstract: The disclosure concerns a motor vehicle with at least partially electric drive, having a floor structure of a motor vehicle bodyshell and a traction battery. The traction battery is arranged on an underside of the floor structure and is connected thereto. The floor structure has a central tunnel extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction and having a profile open towards the bottom. A plurality of reinforcing webs is arranged on the central tunnel, which stiffen the central tunnel and are fixedly connected thereto. The traction battery is attached at least to some of the reinforcing webs.

  • Publication number: 20170203791
Abstract: A chassis-subframe is attached to a vehicle body and is connected via a plurality of fastening means to high load-bearing body parts. The chassis subframe is connected to the load-bearing body parts by the fastening means indirectly via a sacrificial plate. From a specific relative force acting substantially in the vehicle longitudinal direction between the chassis subframe and the sacrificial plate, the fastening means is pulled out of said sacrificial plate, immediately in the case of a displacement movement of the chassis subframe occurring to the rear, viewed in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The fastening means are arranged by means of the sacrificial plate relative to the load-bearing body parts such that, after being pulled out, the fastening means are able to move freely to the rear in the vehicle longitudinal direction, without interacting with the, or another of the, load-bearing body parts.
