  • Publication number: 20110309282
Abstract: A drive device for a double seat valve having, between flow paths, a seat and first and second valve disks, where first, second and third pistons movable in a sealed manner by alternating pressure pulses for initiating an opening cycle and cleaning cycles of the valve disks each are provided in a drive device housing, where the pistons can be selectively connected with valve disk couple elements so as to transmit movements. Pressure transmission paths lead into the drive device housing to chambers defined by the pistons, the second piston being guided in a sealed manner separate from the first piston in the drive device housing, sealing areas of the first and second pistons define a first chamber in the drive device housing, and at least one pressure transmission path leads, for the cleaning cycle of the second valve disk, laterally and transversely to the common axis of the drive device housing and the valve chamber at least directly into the first chamber.

  • Patent number: 7273580
Abstract: Process for heating a substrate, which contains, relative to the total weight of the substrate, 0.1 to 70 wt. % of metallic, magnetic, ferrimagnetic, ferromagnetic, antiferromagnetic or superparamagnetic particles having an average particle size of between 1 and 5000 nm, wherein the substrate is exposed to electromagnetic radiation, characterized in that the electromagnetic radiation comprises microwave radiation with a frequency in the range from 1 to 300 GHz and the substrate is simultaneously exposed to a direct-current magnetic field, the field strength of which is at least twice the strength of the earth's magnetic field; use of the process for producing or detaching adhesive bonds; device for the simultaneous production of microwave radiation with a frequency within the range from 1 to 300 GHz and a direct-current magnetic field, the field strength of which is at least twice the strength of the earth's magnetic field.

  • Publication number: 20050269018
Abstract: A heatable veneer element for motor vehicle steering wheels and process for producing such a veneer element are disclosed. More particularly, a heatable veneer element for motor vehicle steering wheels is provided that includes a covering veneer piece having at least one layer of wood and/or imitation wood and a heating element which is joined inseparably to the covering veneer piece and serves to heat the covering veneer piece. The covering veneer piece is joined directly and inseparably to the heating element. This has the advantage that the distance which has to be traveled by the heat generated by means of the heating element is minimized and a short heating time (<3 min) of the ring of the steering wheel can thus be realized. The distance to be traveled corresponds essentially to the thickness of the covering veneer piece whose one or more layers can each be made very thin, i.e. <1 mm.

  • Patent number: 6666129
Abstract: The invention relates to an operating device for a rotatable closing element of a valve such that, a desired angle of rotation can easily be set and maintained. This is achieved in that two guide grooves (2f), which are incorporated diametrically opposite each other, are bounded on all sides by a piston shank (2b), in that their respective courses are precisely or more or less symmetrical at all points, in that in each instance the courses have, in relation to the axis of the piston (2), a greater pitch angle in a central portion (angle b) than in their two portions on the end side (angle a) (a>b), and in that the stroke of the piston (2) is limited on one side by application of the front-end piston shank (2b) to the cover element (4) and on the other side by application of a piston base (2a) to a stop element (9; 20; 20.
