  • Patent number: 11524342
Abstract: A tool holder for collet chucks, wherein a clamping rotor for applying an axial force to a collet chuck is provided. The clamping rotor, including the two axial bearings of the clamping rotor, are accommodated in a tool holder main part, which is connected to a collet chuck receiving body that receives the collet chuck. In order to captively support the clamping rotor in the main part, a bearing seat element is screwed into the main part, said bearing seat element delimiting a receiving chamber for the clamping rotor towards the collet chuck receiving element. Thus, the clamping rotor is enclosed and held in the main part independently of the collet chuck receiving body. This creates new possibilities for the maintenance and adaptation of the tool holder under different conditions, and in particular the force flow emanating from the clamping rotor during a clamping process is kept away from the collet chuck receiving body, thereby improving the precision of the tool holder.
