  • Patent number: 9750383
Abstract: The invention relates to a cleaning brush for a floor cleaner, in particular, a self-propelled and self-steering floor cleaner, including at least one brush unit having a brush body defining a brush axis and being provided with cleaning bristles and having a first end and a second end, the at least one brush unit including at the first end or in the region of the first end a torque receiver device for coupling with a drive device of the floor cleaner. To provide such a cleaning brush which can be reliably mounted on a floor cleaner in a constructionally simple way, the at least one brush unit includes a bearing device for mounting on the floor cleaner, which is arranged between the first end and the second end. The invention also relates to a floor cleaner with a cleaning brush, in particular, a self-propelled and self-steering floor cleaner.

  • Patent number: 7659693
Abstract: The invention relates to a rechargeable battery with a battery housing having a rear wall with a recess which extends as far as an end wall of the battery housing and has a base side and narrow sides facing each other, the base side continuing via a step into the outer side of the rear wall, and a contact assembly which is covered by a cover extending from the step being positioned at the step. In order to further develop the battery so that when the battery is connected to an electrical appliance the contact assembly is protected against splash water, it is proposed, in accordance with the invention, that the cover form a contact housing which completely surrounds the contact assembly in circumferential direction and has on its side facing away from the step an insertion opening surrounded by a circumferential rim of the contact housing, which forms a sealing surface.

  • Patent number: 6505371
Abstract: In order to construct a sweeper, which comprises a rotary brush arranged in a housing, a dirt collector which can be detachably attached to the housing and, adjacent the rotary brush in the dirt collector, a dirt inlet on the bottom edge of which a sill is arranged, in such a manner that the sill at the bottom edge of the dirt collector can be produced in particularly simple manner it is suggested that the sill be formed in one piece from a wall section which runs on one plane alongside both its longitudinal edges and which in between these edges stands out of this plane to one side, and that the wall section be connected to the bottom of the dirt collector alongside its longitudinal edges, whereby there will be a connection in two pieces at least alongside one longitudinal edge between the bottom and the wall section.
