  • Publication number: 20240125161
Abstract: Method and system for motor-driven assistance of the movement of a vehicle door, wherein the vehicle door is driven by means of an electric motor, which is controlled by a control unit, depending on a force exerted on the vehicle door by an operator, in a manner assisting this force or exceeding the force, comprising the steps: the voltage induced in the electric motor due to the force exerted on the vehicle door by the operator is detected and transmitted to the control unit, this electrical voltage or a signal derived from it is compared with prescribed threshold values in the control unit during a defined, adjustable time interval, and the motor is driven by the control unit, depending on whether the threshold values are exceeded or undershot, in a manner merely assisting the force exerted on the vehicle door by the operator or exceeding the force.

  • Patent number: 10409698
Abstract: A method for performing a plurality of tests on a device under test comprises performing a plurality of tests on a device under test. Each test of the plurality of tests comprises a foreground process and a background process. The foreground process comprises a setup process during which a desired test mode is set. The background process comprises an upload process during which data captured from the device under test is provided. The foreground process is executed with a higher priority than the background process, thereby minimizing a delay between a start of consecutive tests of the device under test.

  • Patent number: 10401224
Abstract: Described herein is a method for predicting visual texture parameters of a paint having a known paint formulation. The visual texture parameters of the paint are determined using an artificial neural network on the basis of a number of color components used in the known paint formulation. The method includes determining a value of at least one characteristic variable describing at least one optical property using a physical model for the known paint formulation. The method also includes assigning the value to the known paint formulation, and transmitting the value to the artificial neural network as an input signal for determining the visual texture parameters. The value describes the at least one optical property for at least some of the number of color components of the known paint formulation. The method further includes training the neural network using a plurality of color originals each having a respective known paint formulation.

  • Patent number: 10318814
Abstract: A method for analyzing media assets such as video and audio files. The method includes providing access to all the frames of a digital media asset. The method includes, with a microprocessor, running a raw analyzer modules to analyze the asset frames to produce sets of raw analyzer result data that are stored in a data cache in a file associated with the asset. The sets of raw analyzer results are linked to the raw analyzer modules with unique identifiers. The digital media asset is played for the raw analyzer modules, which concurrently analyze the temporally-related frames. The raw analyzer results are stored as data tracks that include metadata for the asset such as immutable parameters including histograms. The method includes using a feature algorithm module to generate an analysis result, such as face identification, for the digital media asset based on the raw analyzer results accessed by the identifiers.
