  • Publication number: 20070274616
Abstract: A device for guiding two sub-assemblies of a motor vehicle displaceable in relation to one another. Said device comprises two guide elements positioned at a distance from one another in a transversal direction that is perpendicular to the guide direction and two guide units, in which a respective guide element is mounted so that it is displaceable in the guide direction. The guide elements are intercoupled and stops are allocated to the guide elements on the guide units, said stops limiting a displacement of the guide elements in relation to the respective guide units in the transversal direction, perpendicular to the guide direction. A first of the two guide elements in the allocated guide unit is mounted perpendicularly to the guide direction with a negligible displacement margin. The second guide element is mounted in the allocated guide unit with a greater displacement margin in the transversal direction.

  • Publication number: 20070220248
Abstract: Provided are a method, system and program for gathering configuration settings from a source system to apply to a target system. A source system is queried to determine configuration settings in the source system. A target system is queried to determine configuration settings in the target system. A user is enabled to enter configuration settings. The determined and user entered configuration settings are processed to generate commands to configure the target system to implement the configuration settings in the source system. The generated commands are executed to configure the target system.

  • Patent number: 5273957
Abstract: A process is described for producing a superconducting thick layer on a base material by thermally spraying a powder containing bismuth, lead, strontium, calcium and copper in oxidic form. First a powdered starting mixture is prepared which has a composition corresponding to the formula:Bi.sub.1.90-x Pb.sub.x Sr.sub.2-y Ca.sub.2.2-z Cu.sub.3.5-q O.sub.v,in which0.1.ltoreq.x.ltoreq.0.7,0.ltoreq.y.ltoreq.0.4,-0.5.ltoreq.z.ltoreq.+0.5,0.ltoreq.q.ltoreq.1.2 andv is the oxygen content calculated from the starting materials. Then the powder is heated for not less than 1 hour at a temperature of not less than 750.degree. C. in an oxygen-containing atmosphere and cooled again. The powder pre-reacted in this way is applied to a thermally stable substrate in a layer thickness of 0.5 to 7 mm by means of a burner by plasma-jet spraying or by flame spraying. The layer applied is then sintered for a time of not less than 40 hours at a temperature of 842.degree. to 848.degree. C. The layer is cooled to a temperature of 550.

  • Patent number: 4428352
Abstract: A process for operating an internal-combustion engine with a supercharger which can be cut out, and a device for carrying out the process are disclosed. The engine has, aside from the supercharger or compressor which can be cut in or out as desired, an exhaust-gas return arrangement. No exhaust gas can be conveyed back into the intake line when the compressor is cut in and therefore when there is a pressure rise at the cylinder inlet to above atmospheric pressure and above the pressure prevailing in an exhaust-gas line. The return of exhaust gas into the intake line is prevented in such a way that an exhaust-gas return line opens, opposite a supercharger delivery line from the supercharger, into an intake line to the engine.

  • Patent number: 4066100
Abstract: A control valve of the type wherein a valve member in the form of a piston moves axially within a piston guide cylinder located in a valve chamber. The valve chamber includes an inlet chamber, an outlet chamber, a valve seat area, and a main flow path and a plurality of by-pass ducts running through an inlet collar and terminating at the valve seat area. A by-pass admission duct which includes an entrance section located in a convexly curved portion of the inlet collar feeds the fluid controlled by the valve to the by-pass ducts and this duct which begins at a rotationally symmetrical throat section of the main flow path is generated by the respective boundary lines of the inlet collar and piston guide cylinder, the shortest connecting line between those boundary lines and an extension of the line which generates the valve seat area.
