  • Publication number: 20240033126
Abstract: An apparatus for assisting with alignment of a dropping nozzle of an eye dropper bottle includes a tubular hub configured for selective engagement with the dropping nozzle to laterally surround the dropping nozzle within a hub lumen thereof. A first semispherical disc has a first center aperture which laterally surrounds an outer wall of the tubular hub and a first disc body which is semispherically curved. A second semispherical disc has a second center aperture which laterally surrounds the outer wall of the tubular hub and a second disc body which is semispherically curved. The first and second disc rims are attached together at a rim perimeter to laterally enclose a substantially fluid tight toroidal indicator space. At least one user-perceptible liquid is located within the indicator space, the liquid shifting with respect to the tubular hub under influence of gravity responsive to an angular position of the tubular hub.

  • Publication number: 20230354771
Abstract: Insect storage and dispensing system are described. An example system may include a dispensing container including at least one wall defining an interior volume for retaining a plurality of adult insects. The system may also include a piston that extends through a first opening of the dispensing container so as to expose a top face of the piston to the interior volume. • Publication number: 20220032028
Abstract: A device can include a capsule containing an array of microneedles and a mechanical actuator. The device can be in an ingestible form for delivery to a duodenum or other target location within a subject and can release the mechanical actuator from constraint by the capsule in response to stimuli or conditions in or en route to the duodenum or other target location. The mechanical actuator upon release from constraint by the capsule can expand outwardly (e.g., responsive to a bias provided by a flexibly resilient material of the mechanical actuator) in a direction away from a central longitudinal axis of the mechanical actuator and drive the array of microneedles into penetrating engagement with a lining of the duodenum or other target location. The penetrating engagement can facilitate delivery of a biotherapeutic agent or other payload via the microneedles.
