  • Publication number: 20050120714
Abstract: A device for transmitting a displacement of an actuator to a setting element comprises two pistons that delimit two transmission chambers and a compensation chamber with a housing. The compensation chamber is hydraulically connected to the two transmission chambers. The transmission chambers transmit a displacement of the first piston in order to effect a displacement of the second piston. The compensation chamber serves as a reservoir for the transmission medium with which the transmission chambers are filled. The compensation chamber is delimited by an elastomer ring. The elastomer ring depicts a simple and economical realization with which it is possible to subject the compensation chamber to the action of pressure and to change the volume of the compensation chamber at the same time. In a preferred embodiment, the elastomer ring is externally subjected to the action of a tension force via a pressure ring.

  • Publication number: 20050006495
Abstract: The sealing element consisting entirely of elastomer is plugged onto the head plate of a piezo actuator for a fuel injection valve. Encircling sealing bulges (6) are formed on the first end of the sealing element and effect a sealing toward the injector body (2). The sealing element has passages for accommodating contact pins (7), whereby sealing lips (8) are formed around the passages in order to seal the contact pins (7). The sealing actions of the sealing bulges (6) and of the sealing lips (8) are separate from one another.

  • Publication number: 20050001426
Abstract: A leakage connection for connecting a leakage pipe to a fuel injector which is inexpensive to produce and that can be easily and reliably mounted can be obtained by configuring a security device as a snap ring that can be inserted in a nipple groove configured on the periphery of an insert. A bore groove is configured in the inner peripheral wall of the bore and corresponds to the nipple groove. In the mounted state of the leakage connection, the snap ring, with a part of its wall thickness, lies in the bore groove and with the rest of its wall thickness in the nipple groove, thereby preventing the leakage connection from being unintentionally withdrawn.

  • Publication number: 20040231637
Abstract: An injector, especially for an accumulator injection device, comprises an inlet connection (8), a leakage connection (3) and an electric connection (7). The leakage connection (3) and the electric connection (7) are embodied as a single-piece injection component (2), wherein the component is directly injection-moulded onto the injector (1).

  • Publication number: 20040169443
Abstract: An actuator (1) acts as a drive unit for an injector, especially for an accumulator injection system. The actuator comprises a piezostack (3) disposed in a tube spring, a top plate (2) and a bottom plate. The top plate (2) of the actuator is directly fixed to the injector housing (7) by means of caulked areas. The caulking enables the injector to be produced in a simple and economical manner.
