    Abstract: An aqueous emulsion comprises (1) organopolysiloxanes containing SiC-bonded aliphatically unsaturated groups in the terminal units, (2) organopolysiloxanes containing at least 3 Si-bonded hydrogen atoms, (3) a catalyst promoting the addition of Si-bonded hydrogen to aliphatic unsaturation, (4) organosilicon adhesion promoters, (5) silicone resins, (6) an emulsifier, (7) water, and (8) carbon black. The emulsions may be applied to fabric prior to drying and shrinking, and vulcanized while drying the fabric. The coated fabrics exhibit ideal characteristics for use as airbag material.
