    Abstract: A carrier pot for a brake disc includes a radially inner hub ring portion for fastening to a wheel hub and a radially outer brake disc ring portion for fastening to the brake disc. The carrier pot is made from a fiber-reinforced plastic which has a plurality of fiber layers. The fibers of at least two adjacent fiber layers are oriented such that the fiber layers run differently with respect to one another.
