  • Patent number: 8679388
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of a lignocellulose product from a) at least one material containing lignocellulose, b) a resin-based binding agent and (c) an organic compound comprising at least one first and second functional group. The first functional group is an oxidizable functional group and the second functional group is a group which can react with the binding agent forming a substantially covalent bond. The reactand and reaction conditions of the method are selected in such a way that substantially covalent cross-polymerization occurs between the material containing lignocellulose and the binding agent. The lignocellulose products produced according to the inventive method contain less binding agent and have improved physical-chemical properties.

  • Publication number: 20090301918
Abstract: Panel packaging includes a wrapper, comprising at least one panel received by the wrapper and at least one indicator for displaying at least one stress. The indicator alters its appearance at least once depending on the at least one stress. The panel packaging provides improved handling of the panel by including at least one indicator for displaying at least one stress.

  • Publication number: 20080029926
Abstract: The invention relates to a compound of a thermoplastic synthetic material and a strengthening components whereby the technical problem of indicating a high-grade compound work material at low production cost, in particular for outdoor application has been solved in that the thermoplastic synthetic material is a synthetic polyester, preferably a polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and the strengthening components is an organic filler, preferably fine-particle wood or wood fibers. The invention also relates to the production of structural parts from the component as well as the structural parts themselves.

  • Patent number: 7037024
Abstract: A joint between two components (2, 4), with both components (2, 4) having joint faces (6, 8) which at least partially correspond with one another, which at least partially press against one another in the jointed state. The technical problem, on one hand, of preserving the advantages of an adhesive joint in comparison to mechanical joining systems, but simultaneously not increasing the outlay by the consumer and the outlay for handling the components, is solved in that a matrix (14, 16) is positioned on at least part of at least one of the joint faces (6, 8), multiple capsules (18) are positioned distributed in the matrix (14), a material of a reaction adhesive system is contained in the capsules (18), and at least a part of the capsules (18) at least partially release the material contained in them under external action. Also, a component having at least one joint face and a method for producing an adhesive matrix on a joint face.

  • Patent number: 6526719
Abstract: A panel connection, particularly for flooring panels, having a groove (34) that is embodied at a side edge (3); a tongue (32) that is embodied at a side edge (4); a depression (35) that is embodied in the groove (34) and has an interlocking surface (17); an interlocking element (33) that is embodied at the tongue (32) and has an interlocking surface (27); and fitting surfaces (12, 22), which are embodied in the groove (34) and at the tongue (32) and serve as abutments for the interlocking surfaces (17, 27). The properties of interlocking and orientation stability are improved in that the groove (34) has fitting surfaces (14, 15), which extend parallel to the top side (5), in the region of the groove bottom (7), and the tongue (32) has fitting surfaces (24, 25), which extend parallel to the top side (9), in the region of the end surface (8), with the fitting surfaces (14, 24; 15, 25) resting against one another in the interlocked state of the connection.

  • Patent number: 6497079
Abstract: A panel connection, particularly for flooring panels, having a groove (35) that is formed at a side edge (5); a tongue (32) that is formed at a side edge (6); a depression (39) that is formed in the groove (35) and has an interlocking surface (16); an interlocking groove (34) that is formed at the tongue (32) and has an interlocking surface (26); and fitting surfaces (14, 24), which are formed the groove (35) and at the tongue (32) and serve as abutments for the interlocking surfaces (16, 26). The properties of interlocking and orientation stability are improved in that a recess (40), which is formed by a facing surface (11) that extends perpendicular to the top side (3) and a fitting surface (12) that extends parallel to the top side (3), is provided in the region of the side edge (5). An upper lip (30), which is formed by a facing surface (21) that extends perpendicular to the top side (4) and a fitting surface (22) that extends parallel to the top side (4), is provided in the region of the side edge (6).
