  • Patent number: 9752627
Abstract: The present invention relates to a clutch arrangement for coupling a first clutch section to a second clutch section. The clutch arrangement has at least one pin-shaped shift element mounted so as to be movable in the direction of the longitudinal axis thereof by the first clutch section between an engaged position, in which the two clutch sections are coupled for conjoint rotation by means of the shift element, and a disengaged position, in which the two clutch sections are decoupled from one another. Also provided is a spring, which acts at least indirectly on the shift element and preloads the latter in the direction of the engaged or disengaged position, whereas an electromagnet serves to move the shift element counter to the preloading effect of the spring in the energized state.

  • Publication number: 20160322792
Abstract: Cable processing equipment for removing a screening film from a screened multi-core round cable includes four knives radially movable relative to the cable for cutting into the screening film. In that case, each knife is associated with a cable core of the round cable. The knives have concavely formed cutting edges and guide elements, which guide elements have guide sections in which the cable cores encased by the screening film are receivable. The knives protrude relative to the guide elements in the region of the guide sections by a projection length. The guide sections have a concave circularly cylindrical shape and form a concave abutment surface for the cable cores.

  • Publication number: 20060077665
Abstract: A uniformly illuminated surface is visually attractive. When large in size, such a surface is likely to create a lasting impression on a viewer, and can be effective as a marketing or branding tool. In the lighting system of the present invention, diffuser shields are used to disperse light from a lamp of a lighting unit onto a projection side of a translucent surface. The light is further dispersed by the surface, causing uniform illumination of the surface when viewed from the opposite viewing side of the surface. When a number of lighting systems of the present invention are appropriately placed in relation to each other and the surface, those systems can be used to provide uniform illumination of one or more surfaces, irrespective of their size or shape.

  • Patent number: 6425473
Abstract: A finishing installation for cables includes a cable unit, a cable feeder and finishing units. The leading cable end is seized by a loop-laying device and turned horizontally through 180°. At the same time, the cable is advanced by a cable-advancing device and straightened by the straightening path. An encoder measures the length of the advanced cable, while a cable loop is formed during the advancing of the cable. For the taking-over, feeding and delivery of cable ends, the cable feeder has a first transfer unit, which is displaceable along a transfer guide, with a first gripper unit and a second transfer unit, which is displaceable along the transfer guide, with a second gripper unit. Control equipment controls and monitors the finishing installation, wherein the movements of, in particular, the transfer equipment and the gripper units are freely programmable.
