  • Patent number: 10845351
Abstract: A method of processing signals comprising: obtaining an electrical signal from one or more plant specimens; and processing said obtained electrical signal to generate plant data; wherein the plant data is data indicative of a characteristic of said one or more plant specimens, wherein said characteristic comprises at least one of: a measure of the health of said one or more plant specimens, a measure of the vitality of said one or more plant specimens, and a reaction to environmental changes of said one or more plant specimens.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 22, 2016
Date of Patent: November 24, 2020
    Assignee: Vivent sárl
Inventors: Nigel Christopher Wallbridge, Carrol Annette Plummer, Martin Timms, Caleb Carroll, Nicholas Barker
  • Patent number: 10173059
Abstract: An apparatus comprising: an electrical signal generation device configured to generate a first electrical signal, the first signal being based upon captured or expected data related to one or more human or animal subjects; and an electrical signal application device configured to apply the first electrical signal in a processed or unprocessed form to a human or animal subject.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9883429
Abstract: A method of storing data indicating a property of a communications network includes obtaining a data item associated with at least part of a spatial region and having an associated spatial parameter and an associated temporal parameter, the stored data item indicating a property of the communications network. The method also includes receiving second data indicating a property of said communications network at a particular location in said spatial region at a particular time. The method further includes processing said spatial parameter, said temporal parameter, data indicating said particular location and data indicating said particular time and, based upon said processing, generating first and second sub-data items, each of said first and second sub-data items having an associated spatial parameter and an associated temporal parameter, at least one of the first and second sub-data items having a spatial or temporal parameter different from that associated with the stored data item.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 15, 2015
Date of Patent: January 30, 2018

  • Publication number: 20160134501
Abstract: A method of analysing a stream of data packets received at a first device, each data packet within the stream of data packets having a respective sequence number associated with a respective position within the buffer. The method includes providing an indication of the receipt of the data packet at an associated position within a buffer for each received data packet. A head index is maintained at a position of the buffer associated with a received data packet having a highest sequence number and a tail index is maintained at a position of the buffer associated with a received data packet having a lowest sequence number. It is determining, for each position of the buffer through which the tail index passes, whether an indication of receipt is stored at that buffer position and updating a packets lost count when a buffer position does not store an indication of receipt.
