  • Patent number: 10487425
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for producing and drawing-off a woven fabric web (2) with a weaving machine (1) make use of two clamp carriers (7.1, 7.2) with clamps (10.1, 10.2). The clamp carriers are driven back and forth parallel to a drawing-off direction of the fabric web. The clamp carriers are respectively drivable with a pair of drive spindles (14.1, 14.2) arranged so that the web center of the fabric web within the apparatus extends in an area between the two drive spindles of the respective clamp carrier. The fabric web is produced with successive main sections (4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4) and auxiliary sections (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5). The clamps are actuated so that the opening and closing of the clamps takes place only in the time segments of the production in which an auxiliary section of the fabric web is being produced.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for producing and drawing-off a web-shaped product (2) with a production machine (1) and two clamp carriers (7.1, 7.2) with clamps (10.1, 10.2). The clamp carriers (7.1, 7.2) are driven moving back and forth parallel to a drawing-off direction of the web-shaped product (2). The clamp carriers (7.1, 7.2) are respectively drivable with a pair of drive spindles (14.1, 14.2), which are arranged in such a manner so that the web center of the web-shaped product (2) within the apparatus (6) extends in an area between the two drive spindles (14.1, 14.2) of the respective clamp carrier (7.1, 7.2). The method is characterized in that the web-shaped product (2) is produced with successive main sections (4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4) and auxiliary sections (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5), and that the clamps (10) are actuated in such a manner so that the opening and closing of the clamps (10) takes place only in the time segments of the production in which an auxiliary section (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.

  • Publication number: 20160158997
Abstract: Deflecting device (3) for a chain of tenter clips (1) with running rollers (2) for the transport of a moving material web, with a sprocket (4) as well as with a guide rail (5) with at least two tracks (6.1, 6.2) for the running rollers (2) of the tenter clips (1). The two tracks (6.1, 6.2) are respectively arranged on two mutually oppositely facing sides of the guide rail (5) parallel to the rotation axis of the sprocket (4). The guide rail (5) comprises at least one curved section (5.2) for deflecting the chain. In the area of the curved section (5.2) of the guide rail (5), connecting elements (8, 9, 10) are present, by which the guide rail (5) is connected with the deflecting device (3). Several connecting elements (8, 9, 10) are embodied in such a manner so that at least a part of the curved section (5.2) of the guide rail (5) is radially slidable with respect to the sprocket (4).

  • Patent number: 4316372
Abstract: A protective arrangement for a drawing press which includes a detector arrangement for detecting at least one of a presence of a workpiece, a semi-finished workpiece, and a correct workpiece feed whereby the drawing press is immobilized or shut down in the event the detector arrangement detects a fault. The detector arrangement is adapted to detect contours of a workpiece which have been drawn by the drawing press and is disposed downstream of a drawing station of the drawing press.

  • Patent number: 3935724
Abstract: Apparatus for stripping hollow articles off of a press ram including a stripper supporting ring extending circumferentially around the press ram, a plurality of segments mounted on said supporting ring for limited radial displacement with respect to the press ram axis, and a plurality of individual hydraulically cushioned strippers mounted in each of said segments for direct engagement with the article to be stripped from the press ram. Various preferred embodiments include various mechanisms for permitting and/or positively providing radial displacement of the segments so as to accommodate passage of the press ram and article to be stripped. Several of these preferred embodiments include biasing means such as springs and/or pressure medium forces for biasing the segments radially inwardly and chamfered conical beveled edges on the segments for accommodating an outward biasing force application by way of the article and press ram.
