  • Patent number: 6313799
Abstract: A diagnostic device having a diversity processor for individually testing the electrical condition of the connections of individual antennas of a multi-antenna system in a motor vehicle. This device can be coupled to the interfaces of an antenna amplifier containing a diversity system, and such a test can be carried out without any intervention in the circuitry of the receiving installation. The diagnostic device contains a test unit and a control unit. The test unit is designed for generating a test signal that is received by an antenna of the multi-antenna system by a transmitting antenna. The diversity system is acted upon by a control unit having a control signal consisting of an IF-signal and a dc voltage signal. The control signal generated by the control unit by an interference simulator integrated in the control unit is disturbed only when the diversity system is prompted to switch to the next antenna.

  • Patent number: 6228226
Abstract: A process for working up crude, liquid vinyl acetate feed containing acetic acid, water and ethyl acetate and optionally smaller amounts of other impurities by distillation, wherein there is introduced into the distillation column, above the feed point of the crude, liquid vinyl acetate, 0.1 to 5% by weight of water, based on the crude, liquid vinyl acetate feed, and 0.1 to 60% by weight of acetic acid, based on the crude, liquid vinyl acetate feed.

  • Patent number: 4812985
Abstract: A system for the storage and retrieval of motor vehicle keys wherein the keys are mounted in a container to which is affixed a printed bar code label identifying the vehicle stock number, its color and model. The system includes a bar code reader and a plurality of vertically rotatable circular plates having a plurality of key storage locations around the periphery of each. A pick and place arm is driven by a central processing unit in response to either the bar code read upon insertion of a key to be stored or upon entry of data from a key pad by a user to either store a key in an assigned location or to retrieve a key from that storage location and deliver it to the user. The system also includes routines whereby reports may be prepared for management indicating the individuals who currently have keys outstanding and the number of times each individual has removed the keys for each particular vehicle over a period of time.

  • Patent number: 4612468
Abstract: An external rotor motor, especially for driving fans, including a stationary inside stator, an outside rotor, and a stator-lamination pack of the inside stator having a central bore into which there is installed, with the aid of a clamping seating, a stator bushing which is connected mechanically on one side with the motor flange carrying the external rotor motor. Inside the stator bushing, there is a turnable shaft which is fixedly secured, on the side lying opposite the motor flange, within a rotor bushing of the turnable outside rotor. The motor flange includes on the inside, a hollow cylindrical added piece with an inward-directed annular crosspiece, which abuts against the stator-lamination pack. The stator bushing, installed with the aid of a clamping seating in the central bore of the stator-lamination pack, has an outward-directed annular crosspiece which is seated against the inward-directed annular crosspiece of the cylindrical added piece of the motor flange.
