Abstract: Provided is a device for controlling the printing of a print image with a nozzle of an inkjet printing device. The device is configured to—given the presence of a relatively long printing pause of the nozzle insert one or more print image-independent pre-ejection pulse phases, followed by a print image-dependent pre-ejection pulse phase, between the printing of two successive dots, in order to efficiently and reliably increase the print quality of the printing device.

  • Patent number: 8467097
Abstract: In a method and a device to sort pixel data in a print data stream, a data sorting memory is used configured so that it can be written per column and read per row. The pixel data are entered per column into the data sorting memory in the order of the incoming print data stream. Via the per-row readout the pixel data are re-sorted into an order suitable to control the print head. The sorting can thereby take place in only one write process and one read process.

  • Patent number: 7760655
Abstract: In a method and device for transfer of data over a data connection from a transmitter to a receiver by means of packets, repetition packets with respect to predetermined packets are transmitted given free transfer capacity The packets and their corresponding repetition packets comprise an identifier by use of which the receiver can identify the packets. Given a faulty transfer of a packet, the receiver can identify this quickly via the provision of the repetition packets and can introduce corresponding countermeasures This method is in particular provided for serial high-capacity data connections in which a faulty transfer of individual packets cannot be precluded in principle.

  • Patent number: 3940566
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement in a time division multiplex link having at least two pairs of multiplexors and demultiplexors interconnected by separate transmission lines, i.e., redundant transmission systems, with delay, in which time division multiplex channels are formed through the cyclic scanning of the multiplexor inlets and demultiplexor outlets, respectively so that data signals presented to the multiplexor inlets are transferred via the time division multiplex channels in the form of sampling signals to regeneration arrangements connected to the demultiplexor outlets. The sampling signals passed over the separated (redundant) time division multiplex channels are interlaced, i.e., different delays on different transmission lines, thereby producing a resultant sampling density which, when a fault occurs, is reduced by a factor corresponding to the share of the faulty channel in the total number of channels.
