  • Publication number: 20060268824
Abstract: A communication system includes a call agent that coordinates and supervises communications between endpoints. The call agent allocates a QoS agent for each endpoint involved in a call. The QoS agents generate reservations for the call in order to provide the call with a guaranteed amount of bandwidth and an established QoS. Each endpoint or location associated with an endpoint has a reservation policy that determines how calls are to be handled when a reservation is or is not obtained and when a reservation is lost or obtained during a call. The communication system is able to handle reservations, or the lack thereof, during various situations like on hold, call transfer, call forwarding, conference call, and shared line services.

  • Publication number: 20060171309
Abstract: An apparatus for communicating data in a shared line environment is provided that includes a first reservation element operable to communicate with a second reservation element. The first reservation element is associated with a first location and the second reservation element is associated with a second location. A call may be initiated between the first location and the second location, the second location having one or more end-user devices that share a common line. The first reservation element is operable to reserve bandwidth associated with a connection that involves the first location and the second location before the call occurs.

  • Publication number: 20030014444
Abstract: A discriminating system and the corresponding discriminating method for the pornographic file is provided. The invention uses a world part and a picture part for double inspection, so as to improve the discerning precision. The pornographic picture discerning engine is usually used to discern the picture part. In addition, a word comparing engine is also used to analyze the words, so as to obtain the relative information for the picture and improve precision of the pornographic discerning ability. The discriminating system for pornographic picture includes a word divider, a pornographic picture discerning engine, and a word comparing engine. The word divider is used to receive the multiplex file and separate it into the word part and the picture part for inspections by the pornographic picture discerning engine and the word comparing engine. Finally, the multiplex file is judged whether or not a pornographic file, according to the pornographic discerning index.

  • Publication number: 20030012399
Abstract: A filtering system and filtering method for a pornographic movie is used to filter the transmitted pornographic image data flow, wherein the image data stream includes pornographic picture. The filtering system for a pornographic movie includes an image fetching device and a pornographic picture discerning engine. The image fetching device receives an input of the image data stream and controls an output of the image data stream to a playing device. The image fetching device further includes a fetching unit, a duplicate unit, and an intercepting unit. The fetching unit is used to fetch the image data of the image data stream. The duplicate unit is used to copy the fetched image data as a duplicate image data, and export the duplicate image data to the pornographic picture discerning engine to perform the discerning process.

  • Publication number: 20030002709
Abstract: An inspection system and method for pornographic picture is to doubly filter the picture to be inspected, so as to improve the precision for discerning the pornographic picture. After the picture to be inspected is input to the inspection system for pornographic picture, the feature data of the picture to be inspected is fetched. The pornographic picture discerning engine discerns. If the pornographic picture discerning engine judges the picture to be inspected as a non-pornographic picture or the discerning ability is too low to judge, the pornographic picture discerning engine can export the picture to be inspected to a database comparing engine for inspection. The database comparing engine is connected to the pornographic picture database, use to compare the pictures of the database with the picture to be inspected. According to the feature data, the picture to be inspected is compared with the pictures of the database and a judging signal is exported.

  • Patent number: 6415503
Abstract: The present invention provides an assembling system of rubber cones of computer keyboards and an assembling method for the same. The assembling system of rubber cones of computer keyboards of the present invention comprises an assembly housing, a moldboard stage, a rocking apparatus, and a rotating apparatus. The assembly housing has an operational space. The moldboard stage has a plurality of moldboards, and is arranged above the operational space of the assembly housing. Each moldboard corresponds to a keyboard to be assembled, and has a plurality of recesses corresponding to key switches of the keyboard on the surface thereof. The rocking apparatus and the rotating apparatus join with the moldboard stage at two sides thereof to provide required rocking and rotating forces for the moldboard. Thereby, the present invention can partly automate the originally wholly-artificial assembling method, increase the assembly efficiency, and reduce the cost of manpower.
