  • Patent number: 9595700
Abstract: The invention relates to a battery cell (10) having a cell housing (12) which comprises a housing container (14) and a housing cover (16), two electrodes that are arranged in an inner region of the housing container (14), an electrolyte material that is arranged in the inner region of the housing container (14) and that surrounds the electrodes, and two electrical contacts which in each case are electrically coupled to one of the electrodes and which extend from the inner region of the housing container (14) through the housing cover (16) into a region outside of the cell housing (12), wherein the housing cover (16) has an overlap area (18) at an outer edge, in which overlap area the housing cover (16) and an edge region of the housing container (14) are arranged parallel to each other, wherein in the overlap area (18) a flanged seam (20) is formed, in order to close the cell housing (12).

  • Patent number: 6732655
Abstract: A firing device, in which electrostatic chargings do not lead to an unintentional triggering of the firing element, is composed of a module housing in which a firing element and a circuit means arrangement are arranged, and which has terminal posts that, on the one side, are contacted to the circuit arrangement, and on the other side, are brought out from the module housing for the connection to a plug connector. The firing device includes at least one conductive member that is contacted to the firing capsule and that has a defined distance to the individual terminal posts, such that, in response to an electrical charging, a voltage sparkover occurs between the terminal posts and the conductive member.

  • Patent number: 6666721
Abstract: An easily producible and easily installable ignition mechanism for restraint devices in a vehicle includes an ignition capsule, in which at least one ignition element and its contact pins are fixed. Into the ignition capsule a pedestal can be set, in which a carrier arrangement having circuit elements is arranged. Spring elements are present, by which contact is established between circuit elements and contact pins of the ignition element when the pedestal is set into the ignition capsule.

  • Patent number: 6341976
Abstract: A method for the attachment of electrical components to circuit boards where the electrical components are enclosed by a housing and held in place by a retaining device. The method enables a smaller and more compact construction for switching devices. The connection of the electrical components with the housing enclosing them creates a additional point for the absorption of thermal and mechanical stresses in addition to the connection with the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5535098
Abstract: The electrical device essentially consists of three main components, the circuit board (10), the housing bottom (11) and the housing cover (12). These three main components are joined to one another in the area of their outer edge. For this purpose, the housing bottom (11) and the housing cover (12) have mounting and, respectively, support sections (18, 25) which essentially extend parallel to the circuit board surface. In order to keep the unusable zones for mounting and joining circuit board and the housing parts small, the longitudinal extent of the joints is very much smaller than the total length of the corresponding circuit board edges (FIG. 3).
