  • Patent number: 9802868
Abstract: Disclosed is a ceramic sintered shaped body containing Y2O3-stabilized zirconia with a sintered density of at least 99% of the theoretical sintered density and having a mean grain size of <180 nm. The zirconia fraction of the sintered shaped body comprises tetragonal and cubic phases. Also disclosed is a process for the production of a ceramic sintered shaped body containing Y2O3-stabilized zirconia, which process comprises dispersion of a submicron powder and comminution of the dispersed submicron powder by means of grinding media having a diameter of less than or equal to 100 ?m to a particle size d95 of <0.42 ?m; shaping of the dispersion to form a body, and sintering of the body to form the sintered shaped body.

  • Patent number: 9034225
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing implants and components by direct shaping. The method includes the steps of producing a mold for the implants or components to be produced, making allowances for changes in geometry occurring during after-treatment after the implants or components are removed from the mold, and, providing partial areas of the mold with a structured surface for transferring this structure to the surfaces of the implants or components. In the method, raw material is introduced into the mold and, after remaining in the mold for a certain period of time, the hardened raw material is then removed from the mold to allow the implants or components to take on the structured surface of the mold as well as its geometry. The demolded implants or components are finally subjected to any after-treatment that may be necessary.

  • Patent number: 7162321
Abstract: Tooth restorations are produced starting from data preferably obtained by optical or mechanical digitizing of prepared teeth and/or teeth of one jaw or of both jaws, intraorally, or from jaw models or partial models of one jaw or of both jaws, extraorally, a subsequent CAD construction of aforementioned restorations being produced in the way that an outer mold, in opposition to the oral cavity is constructed by the primary shaping of the tooth restoration, consisting throughout of high strength ceramic material, taking into account sinter shrinkage.

  • Publication number: 20030096214
Abstract: The invention is based on the object of providing a method to produce a tooth restoration, in particular a tight-fitting ceramic tooth restoration, in which under avoidance of a hard-worked ceramic material and with a minimum of method steps, the outer shape of the ceramic tooth restoration being in opposition to the buccal cavity including the gradually thinning down restoration edge is manufactured in its final shape, whereby the sintering shrinkage is being taken into consideration.
