  • Patent number: 10480733
Abstract: Lighting systems, devices, methods and apparatus for simulating a candle flame are disclosed. The systems and methods employ spatially distributed, disjointed sets of light-emitting elements that are independently controlled with randomized control signals to simulate a candle flame by forming spatially and temporally varying lighting effects. Further, the disjointed sets are controlled such that the total light intensity is essentially maintained. In addition, systems and methods employ a transition probability model to adjust intensities of light-emitting elements in a way that accurately mimics a candle flame.

  • Publication number: 20180347771
Abstract: Lighting systems, devices, methods and apparatus for simulating a candle flame are disclosed. The systems and methods can employ spatially distributed, disjointed sets of light-emitting elements that are independently controlled (526) with randomized control signals to simulate a candle flame by forming spatially and temporally varying lighting effects. Further, the disjointed sets can be controlled (526) such that the total light intensity is essentially maintained. In addition, systems and methods can employ a transition probability model (508) to adjust intensities of light-emitting elements in a way that accurately mimics a candle flame.

  • Patent number: 8312160
Abstract: A sensor device includes at least one autonomous streaming module. Predetermined internal events of the autonomous streaming module or predetermined external events from streaming data at an interface to a smart shell of the autonomous streaming module are detected. An operational mode of a component or subsystem within the smart shell of the autonomous streaming module is controlled in response to the detection.

  • Publication number: 20100293288
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sensor device or sensor node and a method of controlling operation of the sensor device, wherein the sensor device comprises at least one autonomous streaming module and wherein predetermined internal events of the autonomous streaming module or predetermined external events from streaming data at an interface to a smart shell of the autonomous streaming module are detected, and an operational mode of a component or subsystem within the smart shell of the autonomous streaming module is controlled in response to the detection.

  • Publication number: 20100169896
Abstract: An electronic device is provided which comprises a plurality of processing units (IP; IP1-IP4), an interconnect (IPCU; N) for coupling the processing units (IP; IP1-IP4) to enable a communication between the processing units (IP; IP1-IP4) and at least one event monitor (EM) for detecting events in the communication in the electronic device. The electronic device furthermore comprises a first controller unit for controlling the interconnect (IPCU; N) according to one or more of the events detected by the at least one event monitor (EM).
