Abstract: A portable access platform for access to the outside of conventional sliding glass windows the access platform having a clamping unit that clamps to the window sill of the open portion of the window unit when one of the windows is slid aside, an elongated slide unit that is slidably connected to the clamping unit and that is arranged outside the window unit below the sill, a platform unit that is slidably connected to the slide unit and positioned at the closed portion of the window unit, the clamping unit and platform unit being moveable to opposite ends of the slide unit for access to the other side of the window unit when the windows are oppositely positioned.
