  • Patent number: 10966366
Abstract: A portable frame is configured to be transported by the forks of a fork lift truck and has hydraulic lines releasably connectable to the auxiliary hydraulic fluid pressure system of the fork lift truck. A valve and a set of hydraulic lines are mounted on the portable frame for releasable connection to the hydraulic fluid lines of a tillage machine so that an inexpensive fork lift truck may be utilized to test operation of hydraulically actuated tillage components.

  • Patent number: 10538420
Abstract: A system for interfacing with a hitch of an implement or a vehicle includes: a frame including at least one channel that is shaped to accept a tine of a forklift; a generally vertical spindle carried by the frame; an actuator carried by the frame; and a spindle engager pivotably coupled to the frame and linked to the actuator, the spindle engager defining an engaging position where the spindle engager engages the spindle and a non-engaging position where the spindle engager is out of engagement with the spindle. A forklift incorporating such a system and a method of hitching a forklift to an implement or a vehicle is also provided.

  • Patent number: 7481279
Abstract: A scraper system to remove and deflect debris and soil from a disc gang mounted on an agricultural implement is provided. The scraper system includes a mounting bracket member supported at a common axle in support of the disc gang. The mounting bracket member is aligned generally parallel to and located forward of the common axle, and is mounted at a forward end of an elongated carry member supported from the common axle. The elongated carry member is generally aligned perpendicular relative to the common axle. A scraper blade is supported by a scraper arm mounted at the mounting bracket member and is located above the common axle. The location of the scrapper blade and the scraper arm allows a deflector plate to be located at the rearward end of the carry member.

  • Patent number: 7290620
Abstract: A disk blade scraper is used with a tillage implement having rotating disk blades separated by hub spools. In one form, the disk blade scraper has a wide tapered scraper blade positioned very close to the transition of the hub spool and the disk blade. In another form, the disk blade scraper incorporates a round disk having an edge that runs in the transition joint of the disk blade and the hub spool. In yet another form, the disk blade scraper incorporates a round and or square bar that is positioned in such a way that the bar end rubs against this transition joint. In still another form, the disk blade scraper incorporates a flat scraper blade shaped to fit the contour of the backside of the disk blade. The corner of this scraper is positioned very close to the transition joint of the disk blade and the hub spool.

  • Patent number: 6557646
Abstract: An agricultural tillage implement employing a series of apparatus to perform one-pass primary tillage is disclosed. A cutting disk is the first apparatus that works the field. These disks cut the residue laterally (across the machine) and mix the majority of the residue throughout the disk tillage profile. Additional conditioning occurs by knocking residue/stalks over into a prone position with large cast spools between each disk for quicker decay. Next, chisel plow units work the soil to fracture and loosen the soil, providing proper soil aggregate size and air pore space relationship throughout the shank tillage profile. The last apparatus to work the field is a set of leveling disks, or a combination of leveling disks and a rotary reel/drag harrow. The function of these will provide is to reduce clod size and leave the soil level and smooth enough to allow one-pass secondary tillage in the spring.
