  • Patent number: 6358164
Abstract: A strike zone indicator apparatus has a mount positioned in relation to a home plate and away from possible interference. First projectors connected to the mount project first beams related to the home plate. A measurer takes particular individual players measurements and a processor connected to the measurer and to the first projectors creates individualized upper and lower limits of strike zones according to the particular individual players measurements. Second beam projectors are connected to the processor for projecting second beams intersecting with the first beams for establishing above the preexisting home plate the upper and lower limits and the strike zones based on the particular individual players measurements from the measurer.

  • Patent number: 6277228
Abstract: A method of forming or debossing a permanent identification mark or indicia onto a plastic material, such as a housing of an appliance, which becomes soft or melts when heated to a predetermined temperature, comprises applying a label having an adhesive on one side to the substrate or housing with the adhesive side in contact with the substrate or housing. The label, including the adhesive, also becomes soft, melts, or disintegrates when heated to the predetermined temperature. Then, predetermined portions of the label, which portions form the outline of the permanent mark or indicia, is heated to at least the predetermined temperature. The portions of the substrate or housing corresponding to the predetermined label portions are also heated to the predetermined temperature and melted away to a predetermined depth, leaving a permanent mark or indicia on the substrate or housing, even if the label is forcibly removed.

  • Patent number: 5970856
Abstract: A device for grilling small pieces of food is described which is a basket made of a perforated metal. The device fits inside of conventional grills even when the lid of the grill is closed and can be easily removed for shaking and turning over of the small pieces of food without their falling out. The basket has upper and lower portions each with two outwardly extending flaps. When the upper portion is placed over the lower portion the flaps interface so that the basket may be easily shaken or turned over. Furthermore, when the upper portion is placed inside the lower portion stacking during shipping and storage is facilitated.

  • Patent number: 5811766
Abstract: A heater for conventional shaving cream containers comprises a dome- or ring-shaped heating element. The ring-shaped heating element can be either a donut-shaped heater that fits around the outer surface at the upper region of the shaving cream container, or it can be a dome or inverted dome-shaped heating element permitting the weight of the container to rest on the heating element. Also, the ring-shaped heater may include an inner ring which allows the heater to hang from an upper edge of the shaving cream container.
