Abstract: An improved type of lawn mower that incorporates two cutting blades rotatably mounted in separate housings diagonally opposed to each other at the bottom portion of the lawn mower housing. The diagonal mounting of the cutting blades permits cutting overlap and an increased cutting path. A cleaning blade assembly is mounted on each of the cutting blades to aid in the efficient removal of grass clippings from the walls of each of the blade housings, through individual exit chutes preferably located on the same side of the mower housing or deck so that large areas of long or damp grass can be cut with a significant savings in time and labor.
