    Abstract: A novelty item of a cigarette extinguishing ashtray including an ash receiving receptacle having cigarette holders around its periphery, a track around the major portion of the periphery of the receptacle and adjacent the cigarette holders, an animated fireman figure movable along the track and including a hose for squirting water on cigarettes in the holders, and a mechanism for moving the figure along the track and squirting water from the hose when the figure is adjacent the cigarette holders.
