Patent number: 10467852Abstract: A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In embodiments, the operations can include determining content from both a first wagering game application and from a second wagering game application. The first and second wagering game applications can be independent wagering game applications played by a player account during a wagering game session. The operations can further include determining some portion of the second content (e.g., three-dimensional objects) that appears to originate from a second-application domain (e.g., from within confines of the second wagering game application), and presenting the portion of the second content within a first-application domain (e.g., within confines of the first wagering game application). In some embodiments, the operations can further include presenting the portion of the second content interacting with the first content within the first-application domain (e.g.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2014Date of Patent: November 5, 2019Assignee: BALLY GAMING, INC.Inventors: Marwan Y. Patent number: 9378612Abstract: A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In embodiments, the operations can include accessing a wagering game object in a wagering game application running on a wagering game machine, where the wagering game object can include a plurality of degenerate polygons that form a first geometric structure for the wagering game object. The operations can further include determining a second geometric structure that is structurally distinct from the first geometric structure, and morphing the wagering game object from the first geometric structure into the second geometric structure via manipulation of the plurality of degenerate polygons. The operations can further include determining conditions that dictate the shape of the second geometric structure and morphing the wagering game object using a morphing algorithm associated with the conditions. Further, the operations can include providing outcomes and awards in accordance with the second geometric structure.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 2011Date of Patent: June 28, 2016Assignee: BALLY GAMING, INC.Inventors: Marwan Y. Publication number: 20110081959Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes determining physical inputs applicable to a wagering game event, wherein the wagering game event involves game elements of a wagering game. The method can also include determining, based on the physical inputs, a first force to be applied to a first object representing a first of the game elements, and applying the first force to the first object; determining that a collision has occurred between the first object and a second object representing a second of the game elements. The method can also include determining a second force to be applied to the first object because of the collision, presenting the first and second objects based on the first and second forces, determining an outcome of the wagering game event based on the first and second forces, and presenting the outcome of the wagering game event.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2010Publication date: April 7, 2011Applicant: WMS Gaming, Inc.Inventors: Marwan Y.
